                                                                              We’ve been to Seed a ton of times. It’s one of our favorite restaurants. Last night was one of the worst experiences we’ve had. They forgot to seat us and our server repeatedly forgot about us. The good and bartenders were great but it was such a disappointment.

                                                                              We agreed top 3 meals in the last 12 months. The lamb with a side of cauliflower…orgasmic. Then the light lemon cheesecake…holy moly. The mussels broth was incredible. The best part is the staff…refreshing to dine but not be in a stuffy atmosphere.

                                                                              Since we live very near Seed restaurant, we have eaten there many times. The food last night was the very best we’ve ever had. The choices were varied for this New Year’s Eve menu, and I feel that I made some excellent ones starting with delicious fresh oysters and then a lobster risotto, finishing with a cream caramel. In the past, I have felt the food here was over salted, but that was not the case at all with what I enjoyed last evening.  My husband’s choices were a lobster bisque to start, then a rack of lamb ending with the bread pudding. Our cocktails before dinner and wines that we had with dinner were also excellent. Will, our waiter was attentive, but not overbearing and very efficient as he served us. We had a late seating at 9 PM which I think ensured the noise level was less than we usually find at this restaurant. Our table was near the bar and we were given a table for four and we sat side-by-side facing the bar. This was quite pleasant until two couples came in, sitting just in front of our view and talking loudly. They were still there when we left around 10:30 PM. The restaurant closes at 10 on New Year’s Eve. One other thing is that people for the most part seemed to be dressed up a bit. This is not always something you see in East Cobb  and a most pleasant change for a festive evening.

I do apologize about the noisy couples, I always recommend our enclosed patio for a quieter experience and we keep it decorated for the holidays until after NYE.
