   I would not recommend this dining establishment. We came here because it was directly across from where we were staying and we thought it would be cool to show our son and have a nice dinner. The ambience is very nice. It is decorated beautifully. My son is a picky eater. I had looked at the menu before making the reservation and thought he would eat the chicken strips. He asked if they had grilled cheese instead. I saw they didn't but they had sandwiches so I asked if that was possible to do. After checking, our waiter said yes and he informed me it was on sourdough bread. I said that was fine and we placed our order. My husband and I ordered the rigatoni. Our food came out and when it did, the chef decided that my son would't like the sourdough bread and put his grilled cheese on a cheap crappy hamburger bun. Now I know the chef could have said no to grilled cheese altogether, but he didn't and for him to decide what my son would like seems very rude to me. His food ended up coming out after we finished eating. There were no apologies or checking in on us at all. My son sat there waiting and I was not happy about it. And although the rigatoni was very good, the portion size for a $28 plate of pasta was ridiculously small. My husband went to eat someplace else because he was still hungry. I had a glass of wine that was $20 and definitely not worth it. Our $109 meal was a waste. I do not mind spending money for a nice meal, but I expect better service and my meal to be what I ordered. Do better Hard Rock Hotel!

   All of the food was completely awful, the staff wasn’t the kindest. We had to wait 2 hours to get our food, we kept missing some of our drinks and food as well. Overall truly disappointing experience and not worth it at all.

   Great service. Menu was limited and simple but food and drinks were very good. Expensive for the type of basic food but that’s to be expected in NYC.

   Food good. Sat next to live band so very loud and crowded; chairs backed into other tables’ chairs. Seemed like one waitress was working the entire restaurant? And she wasn’t very focused; wasted time. We had reservation for 6pm, waitress took a long time to first come to our table. And our food arrived at 7:05pm.

   Cool spot, live music was fun. Food was fine, nothing crazy. The atmosphere was really fun, though. Basically it’s a hotel lobby turned restaurant. They had a jazz band playing with a guy freestyle rapping over it.

   The only good thing about Sessions was one of their managers. Do not waste your time unless you are a guest at the hotel because they will not value you unless you are. That starts from when the people seat you. Our server was extremely rude and we were shocked. Came all the way from California and had this planned out for a year just about only to be extremely disappointed. We do not recommended.

   I took my son to NYC this Christmas and was looking for a real nice meal for the day. Session's menu listed a Christmas Day special which was listed on their website. This is it exactly: Enjoy a selection of Charcuterie and Cheese as your starter before indulging in our extravagant Seafood Bar or Roast Turkey and Standing Rib Roast carving stations. Served buffet-style, available sides include Soft Bread Buns, Pigs in Blanket, Roasted Parsnip, Stuffed Kabocha Squash, and Country-Style Mashed Potatoes $69 per person. First off, the only drink that came with it was water. We ordered Diet Coke which came in a 6oz glass with ice at a charge of $7.00. The extravagant Seafood Bar consisted of some type of seafood salad and chilled shrimp. Thats all for the seafood! No crab, lobster or oysters. Believe me, the shrimp wasn't extravagant. Then you came to the 8' table with the dinner food. Turkey sliced on one end and beef on the other end. They had two bowls with the turkey and two similar bowls with the beef along with rolls. Only two items had a place card as to what they were. I never saw any roasted parsnips or stuffed kabocha squash anywhere. We went back to the table and there wasn't any salt and pepper containers and no butter for the cold rolls. Wasn't long after we dug in that we emptied our diet coke glasses. But no more service came by the table until the water boy stopped by after we finished. He asked if we wanted more water, and I said I guess so because it doesn't look like we are going to get any more Coke. He then told us there were no refills on drinks. That we would have to purchase additional Diet Coke. Then the bill came, and it had a $27 service fee. I certainly wasn't going to tip. I spoke with the manager, and he said he was grateful for the feedback and would take the two Diet Cokes off the bill. This was a $175.09 meal! I should have known better since the restaurant was in a hotel; not stand alone.

   The buffet was very convenient for dinner prior to seeing a show at Radio City Music Hall. The setting is great and the waitstaff were very attentive but the Prime rib and sides were underwhelming.
