   Sessions is a bit of a hidden gem in busy Times Square. On the 2nd floor of the Hard Rock hotel lobby, most people don't know it's there so you can usually get a table or reservation. The wait staff is friendly and professional. The menu is somewhat limited but the food is well prepared and the drink selection is very unique. There is often live music which can be hit or miss and does increase the noise level.

   Food was good and restaurant was beautiful, however are service was not good. Forgot to bring out appetizer and was slow to check in as we’d been waiting to refill our drinks. Very disappointing for how much the dinner cost for us.

   Delicious breakfast, cool venue and friendly efficient service from everyone, especially our server Julia, who even brought a birthday muffin for our son, who was thrilled. Thanks!

   We love the holiday vibes at Sessions Restaurant & Bar. Beautifully decorated. Attentive service from the hostess to our waitstaff. We enjoyed our cocktail and food was amazing. We really had a wonderful evening with live music by Najah Lewis and Joshua Strim. Our server, Nick was welcoming and courteous. Thank you for an incredible dining experience!

   The restaurant was 75% full with one large party of 25 for lunch on Sunday. Our party of 3 waited 30 minutes to be served our 1st entree and over an hour for all 3. The first entree came out solo with 2 sides of fries that were cold. The next entree came out 15 minutes later. The 3rd entree after many complaints and a conversation with the manager Jairo Cercado (after the server, a busser and the maitre de) came out 15 minutes after the 2nd. The first entree had gone cold after sitting for 30 minutes. This is a theater district restaurant in a hotel chain. We weren’t expecting Michelin quality food (it’s not) but a cheeseburger, lobster roll and burata salad don’t take an hour to make with maybe 40 seats full in the entire place. After an almost 2 hour long ordeal, and hearing the excuse “we have a 25 seat group” from everyone, the manager who was curt the first time, was just plain rude. I waited 15 minutes for a check and got a $55 discount on a $211 check after the host promised to discount the check 50%. I don’t expect much from hotel restaurants in midtown, but the one thing they should be good at is moving tables quickly for the pre theater crowd. This place is a disaster and the manager Jairo Cercado who hasn’t trained the staff, isn’t hospitality manager material. This was more than just a bad day. My low expectations were blown away with incompetence and an exasperated staff that were apparently only trained to deliver an excuse rather than solutions.
