The service was very poor and there were very restrictive rules around who could order what? We had a large group and were not informed how to order and only left with a short time to eat. Overall, they choose to micromanage profitability with little regard for customer satisfaction.

The meat quality was nice. The vegetable buffet was not an extensive as the pictures. The ice cream machine was broken as was the pancake maker. The server was nice but unorganized and frazzled.

We had a great time at Shabu-You for our girls’ night out with eight friends! The beer tower was such a fun touch—great value and perfect for our group. The buffet had so much variety, and the Karaage and fried squid were delicious. Of course, the Wagyu course was the star—tender and so flavorful! Looking forward to our next visit!

Fun experience although if you're not into tech (iPad ordering, robot bus service) it might not be your thing. Tables are small due to the heating elements for the soup base and the many trays and plates. Great service too!

Individual hot pot so you can personalize your broth. There are a variety of veggies and cooked food, in addition to beef, pork, and shrimp that you can order. It’s a fun way to try different food.

It’s a cute place. Confusing a little bit at the beginning on what you’re supposed to do. And the server wouldn’t really help. Food was okay overall but quite pricey. Fun robot brings the meat.

Another great meal. This is one thing my husband and I both love to do. Each of us eat what we want. He has meatballs, I get tofu. He gets teriyaki sauce to dip, I make two custom sauces one based on ponzu sauce for meat and tofu, the other with a base of goma sauce for veggies. The light flavors of the broth pair well with the beefy Wagyu and pork belly. I’m very fond of Japanese shabu shabu and here they brought some of the most approachable and delicious dishes to the US.
