   A very enjoyable evening. The food and choice was excellent. Staff were attentive and all was at a relaxed pace despite it being a busy evening. I hope they continue this standard as we plan to return for another evening in the future.

   Lovely food and generous portion sizes. Good location and Anokha beer on tap. No signal in the restaurant so could do with free WiFi.

   Not its usual standard at all! All curries coming out creamy orange. Our curries were meant to be spicy but were bland and watery. Very disappointing when you spend so much money. We used to come quite frequently but will not be returning again!!

   I am sorry to read this here, Hobbit. As a regular customer you know we pride ourselves on the quality of our food and levels of service at Shalims. This is why we always check each table to make sure everything is ok with your meal. If you had let us know there was a problem with your tables dishes, we would have made things right for you on the spot. It is very hard for us to do anything about it after you have left the restaurant. Shalim

   We always have a good meal at Shalim’s Balti House, we booked for Sunday evening and it was quieter than Fridays or Saturdays. Food was excellent, as usual. I tried Chicken Tikka for a change, it was lovely, tender and tasty, served with small salad and lovely minty yoghurt sauce. Shalim and team were the perfect hosts. A lovely meal out with my husband, could not have been better. Thank you Shalim!

   As always, excellent food. Friendly professional service, and they are always happy to accommodate our requests to 'veganise' dishes. Thoroughly recommended.
