    This place really needs a new chef and a new menu, maybe some fresh blood. The serving staff was very good but the food was another story. Even the green salad tasted old and was inedible. If we didn't have to use up our 'spend by' this would be a place we would avoid.

    Excellent dining experience. Server Sarah was charming and highly professional, a great improvement over the service level at our last two visits.

    The food was the best we’ve ever experienced at this club. The mains of sablefish, salmon and filet mignon were delicious and perfectly cooked. The whole meal rated 10/10. A lovely evening on a lovely patio. Service was great.

    Lots of deep fried food and meat. Not for the health conscious diner! Ambience, patio, service all 5 star. Menu could be better considering all the great restaurants in Vancouver. Big disappointment.

    I wish the Shaughnessy menu could be more interesting. Peter, the former chef, used to have a lot of starters that were very interesting & delicious in addition to mains. I can't remember all the various dishes he produced but they were exceptionally good. The dessert menu also could use an upgrade. The existing desserts have been around for quite a while. Those that are Shaughnessy favourites should stay but some new desserts would be welcome.
