The restaurant's 1940s-style design features two distinct dining rooms: the lively, casual Oyster Bar and the elegant, white-tablecloth Main Dining Room. Guests who reserve "Hightop" seating will dine in the Oyster Bar, while "Standard" seating is for the Main Dining Room.

    Shaw's is as old school as it gets, and I mean that in a positive way. Food and service is always excellent. Love the sushi too. Cories our server is professional yet warm and is always looking out for the diners. He handled any questions we had and I could see that he was doing that as well for other tables too. Kevin the GM is always checking up on diners too. Love this place!

    Amazing atmosphere in an upscale dining establishment that exceeds your expectations for what seafood can be. If you haven’t been here yet you are missing out on a Chicago staple! The live jazz and table side dining service places Shaw’s among the best dining experiences in Chicago! Ask for Corie as your waiter and you can guarantee an elevated dining experience.

    We are regular customers at Shaws, and it is one of our favorite places in the city. We had a dining lovely experience and the service by Corie and his colleagues was, as always, impeccable. The crabcake was absolutely delicious, and must try. We had the artfully prepared sushi platter, and is our go to during lent.

    Merely mediocre. Entree of crab stuffed flounder was blah and the sauce did not save it. Best part of the meal was Au Gratin potatoes. We had two glasses wine each, but when we announced that we were splitting an entree the waiter lost interest! We will not be returning!
