   I celebrated my mom’s birthday here with my parents. The food was absolutely excellent. The tuna and salmon sashimi starter was outstanding. We also had some sashimi mains and a few rolls and the portions were good, taste was amazing, great value. Convenient that an 18% gratuity is included in the price so you just pay whatever the bill comes out to. Overall a fabulous experience. Highly recommend and will definitely be dining here or ordering from here again!

   We really enjoyed our experience! I was so curious to discover their ''Speakeasy'' style restaurant, which means that it is located in an unexpected place...you will probably be a little surprised by the choice of the restaurant's location in a industrial district, you will enter in an industrial style kitchen...but when they open the "secret" door to take you to the restaurant, you will be charmed by an elegant design, a perfect atmosphere and an impeccable service. Being big sushi fans, we truly enjoyed their creations. We highly recommend them and we will return without hesitation. Français: Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre expérience! J'étais très curieuse de découvrir leur restaurant de style ''Speakeasy'', c'est à dire qu'il est situé dans un lieu inattendu...vous serez probablement un peu surpris du choix de l'emplacement du restaurant dans un quartier industriel, vous rentrerez dans une cuisine de style industriel...mais quand ils ouvriront la porte ''secrète" pour vous menez au restaurant, vous serez charmé par un design bien soigné, très élégant, une ambiance parfaite et un service impeccable. Étant de grands amateurs de sushis, nous avons été conquis par leurs créations! Nous recommandons fortement et nous y retournerons sans hésitation.

   Shinka Sushi is, in my opinion, the best sushi restaurant in Ottawa. The ambiance is fantastic! The service is second to none! The Manager and the server were incredibly helpful and they were incredibly attentive. We were able to order items not on the menu. The sushi was so fresh and tasty. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone. A beautiful experience. Thank you!

   Amazing omakase - fresh & quality ingredients . Would be nice to finish off the omakase with something sweet like ice cream.

   It was kind of weird at first since you have to go through the kitchen to get to the small restaurant on the side of it but once there; the food, service and ambiance were amazing. Also, a small and cozy restaurant. Can’t wait for them to get their alcohol license.

   I was thoroughly impressed with the quality, flavor, and presentation of each dish. I enjoyed a selection of sashimi, the Geisha roll, and a California roll—all of which were exceptionally fresh and flavorful. The plating was thoughtful, with each dish presented with clear attention to detail, enhancing the overall dining experience. The staff was friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu, which added to the enjoyable atmosphere. It was evident that each item was prepared with care, making this a memorable experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch sushi experience
