   Booked at short notice, really accommodating. Really lovely waitress, friendly and professional. Good quality ingredients cooked well. Would definitely recommend.

   First visit to Shoals and what a gem. Food and service were fantastic, can highly recommend. Weather was miserable but can imagine this a great place in summer.

   Our second visit - the first was on a visit to Devon 2 years ago. The restaurant is still as good. Perfect fish cookery and an amazing view across the bay.

   Booked at very short notice and glad we did because they were full, on a Sunday evening out of season! Just shows what and excellent restaurant Sean and Sarah have created, so good that the crew from another local venue were there having a night out! I would heartily recommend Shoals to anyone who loves well cooked quality fish, go any time of year but certainly try it in the summer where the nights are lighter and you can take advantage of one of the best restaurant views in the bay!

   Very enjoyable lunch for two. Friendly service backed up with excellent food to match. We both decided to try the set lunch and we were not disappointed. The scallops with cauliflower purée was delicious as was the seafood chowder. The Thai green seafood curry contained a large portion of fish including scallops, prawns and mussels and was full of flavour. Cannot wait to visit again.

   Always come here when we come down to Brixham , great food as always, just one little moan that we had to order all side dishes separate now , think main dishes still should come with a choice of potatoes , but food was great as ever

   The food was delicious and very generous portions. The front of house girl was really lovely and efficient. Such a great spot to have lunch.
