   First time here on a Saturday evening. Booked ahead of time, but still had to wait, and not even offered a drink or look at the menu while we waited. There was a ration on napkins and not the right cutlery provided in the buckets. The food came out extremely quickly, which meant that not everything is piping hot. You have to pay before your food arrives, there's no receipt even though I asked for it, heard someone else say the same when they were leaving. Food itself was ok and pricey for just ok. We ordered the shrimp boil which says has 3 types of shrimp, we had the same shrimp, all same size. The rice was lovely but warm like it had been sat out for a while. The chicken wings were nice again warm, amd definitely not crispy. The baked garlic shrimps was nice but far too much sauce, the ciabatta helped sop it up, but again even the bread was cold, lightly toasted and left out. The final item was the all things shrimps with 3 steps. Niece enjoyed her prince's shrimps with the original rub and a garlic butter. Food was ok, some nice flavours let down by the temperature of it all. We also ordered an overpriced can of coke at £3.50, and 2 mocktails at £6.95 which were meh... They were busy so recommend booking in advance for the new social media fad that is seafood boils. We spent almost £90 for 3 people. So fast service, but food quality a little bit of a let down.

   The food was ok. It mostly tasted all the same, we got a seafood boil and 60% of it was rice. It was so busy and rammed. It was hard to relax

   The seafood boil was delicious! And the mocktails were really nice too! Would definitely recommend and go back again! Lots of menu items to try

   Delicious food, awful service. We made a booking but was never able to give our name on arrival, we were just seated. Asked if we had been before and saying no- expected a bit more explanation or story to how the order/experience would go however menus were just left with us. We ordered a couple of starters and a sailors sharer; starters arrived quickly and were delicious. We then waited over 40 minutes after having our plates cleared from the table before telling one of the staff we were still awaiting our main. She seemed horrified/confused. The original waiter who took the order said the receipt hadn’t printed properly for the kitchen and gave a simple apology. We then waited about 10/15 mins for the food to arrive, and was approached by another 3 members of staff asking if we’d had our food in this time, again only with confused, empty apologies. Once it did arrive food was delicious, however disappointing that we were not offered any kind of reimbursement/complimentaries for the horrific delay and service. Probably would not return on this basis which is a real shame because we love shrimp!

   The service was amazing aswell as the food and atmosphere. Went with my boyfriend for his birthday and it was the best choice.

   I think the location is perfect, the waiting time for the food was great as we didn't have to wait too long, however the food was too cold, especially the rice. I literally couldn't eat it, I know I could have communicated this with the staff and they'd probably sort it out but then food shouldn't be served that cold and in winter! The taste wasn't bad, I liked everything other than the rice, the lobster tail was too small in my opinion. I ordered an SS plater for one and the cost was £65 and I honestly believe there should have been a bit more stuff in there. I had more rice and chip's on my plate than the actual seafood.

   food was amazing 👏 staff were very helpful. But the Atmosphere of the place was all wrong it felt let i was sat in mcdonalds, after paying over £135 I'd expect a warmer surroundings and alcohol to be served! As drinking a can of coke made the experience feel cheap when in reality it wasn't. top praise to the staff ..A few small tweaks and the restaurant could be an instagram sensation

    It was our first time dinning at ShrimpShack and we’d happily return again. I booked this restaurant for my friends birthday, as we were visiting Birmingham for the weekend. We were also given a 30 minute grace period as we were running late for our reservation. The portion sizes were a very good value for money, all food was fresh, hot and served with all the amenities you needed to get stuck in. We will be returning to this restaurant again, couldn’t recommend highly enough.
