   We made a reservation online for Sunday brunch. We show up and we were rudely told there’s no brunch on sundays during football season. This was not stated on their website or when we made the reservation. Go to headless horsemen across the street. Unlimited mimosas for $25.

   I was very disappointed with the service of this restaurant. I made a reservation months in advance for a table of 9. Thought I would enjoy a nice meal and a few cocktails with friends before a concert. I am appalled that when I arrived I was awaited by a table reserved for 4 people. I was a party of 9!!! You do the math. I was then told that when you make a reservation you are only guaranteed 4 chairs. Mind you that nowhere on their website nor open table states this. I even talked to the event planner to confirm and change the time of my reservation and even he did not state that they only guarantee that amount. If I would have known this prior I would have looked else where for an establishment that could accommodate us. Be aware if you are a party of 4 or more don't waste your time or money. Look else where!!!!!

   So I did like the atmosphere and food at Side BAR but I made a reservation on OpenTable so my friends and I could all watch the game together and when I got there they said they would not honor it. They need to figure out how to turn off OpenTable for times that it is unavailable. Luckily I was early and managed to get a table for us to half stand around so I ended up enjoying myself but it was very stressful for the first 30 minutes to see how packed it was going to be and trying to get a table without a reservation. Good wings and tots, and the beer bucket deal is great for games days. Would go back but would call to try to get a table instead of relying on online reservations.

   Been going to SideBar for a very, very long time. I have to say that this was the worst dining/sports watching experience I have ever encountered. I arrived at SideBar Friday evening, September 9th, to watch the World Cup of Hockey, USA vs Canada. I called in advance to make sure the restaurant would have the game on -- they confirmed, no audio, but still OK. Upon arriving at the restaurant, and being the first one there, I was seated at a table with a poor viewing angle. I had already requested that the TV I had to stare up at be changed to the hockey game, which it was. Due to the fact that the viewing angle was so poor, I asked if we could move our table to the back side of the bar, where the lounge tables were located (and completely empty). Our hostess agreed, and moved me -- along with a few other friends that joined us. Here comes the fun part. Once we were seated, I asked that our TV right next to the table be changed to the hockey game, the server complied and went over to whoever was in charge of the TV. She came back a minute later and informed us that this individual wouldn't change the channel because we already asked him to do so on the other side of the restaurant and that he wouldn't do it again...We thought she was kidding, but she wasn't. We repeatedly asked (and eventually he did change the TV all the way across from where we were sitting on small, hard to view TV), but were denied by this person -- while at the same time other groups had asked to change the channel and he willingly did so for them. We eventually closed out our tab after being there for just 30 minutes. This had nothing to do with our servers, just the ONE specific individual at the restaurant who found it completely difficult to click two buttons on a remote control and please customers who were ready to dine and drink for the next couple of hours. I WILL STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO MY FRIENDS THAT THEY NO LONGER COME TO THIS BAR for any sporting event.

   Event planner is not doing his job. I made the reservation for 10-12 people. They only had one waitress and cook for the entire restaurant. It took a long time for food to be served. The waitress had done her best. There shall be 1 more staff to help our big party. otherwise, what is the point to make the reservation.
