   The staff are very friendly and helpful. Each time we go to lunch we are always impressed. the meal is usually very good but today I had roast beef and a bit sinewy. The vegetables were excellent. We'll go again for sure.

   Food & drink options were great, as was the food. A bit disappointing that they had run out of 2 of the specials which our group wanted to order. Very limited dessert options, only 2 items in cake display case. If you don't like noise I'd recommend going on Monday, no noise & quick service.

   Members cards needed updating so didn’t get our member discount no blind on one window do blinded by the sun. The main meals were hardly bigger than seniors ones and the stir fry had very little meat

    As usual Silks represented exceelent value for money. The food is basic but of a good standard and ample. The staff of the entire venue are friendly and seem to enjoy what they're doing. To us, Silks is a family style bistro that more than needs the requirements of people who're looking for a pub-style dining expereince. The menu is adequate without being extensive and the fare offered is of a basic nature meaning Silks is an ideal spot for a family outing or a quick meal at either lunchtime or in the evening but could never be classed as fine dining! Perhpas the menue could do with an update, or in line with many similar type establishments, would benefit from a "seasonal" change to reflect the time of year.
