   The food was phenomenal, the service was quick even on Mother’s Day. This is now my new favorite Thai spot in Alexandria.

   Overall the place was cute and good options for food. The food was a little bland in flavor though. Would give it another chance it was a one off.

   The food and wait staff were well worth the trip. However, as a person of color, I did not appreciate being initially taken to the back of the restaurant to be seated, past multiple open tables. And yes we had a reservation for two.

   It was a wonderful family birthday luncheon. The food was quite tasty and the service was efficient and friendly. Overall a very positive dining experience.

   Seating near the dessert & drink prep section is not ideal for large parties (7), as one end of the table could not hear the conversation from the other end with the incessant noise from the espresso machine and blenders. I’m sure the larger room would not have the issue addressed above. Otherwise the food was enjoyable and the service very good.

   A friend and I went to Sisters Thai on a Saturday evening. The place is really nice and the ambiance is great. This place does not have enough waitstaff which makes the service really slow and bad. I was given 3 Thai ice tea when I ordered one then they got my order wrong so I had to wait additional minutes to get the right order. We were told by the host that we only have 90 minutes but 30 minutes of the 90 we waited to get the waitress to give us water.

    I want to start off with I absolutely love this place and WILL be coming back. I love this place so much that I took my family coming in from out of town and raved about it just to be so severely disappointed with the service even my cousin that barely speaks up, said something. We were greeted shortly after we sat down with water and menus. But no server came by again to take for another 15-20 minutes. By the time they came back, we ordered drinks, apps and entrees all in one. Another 30 minutes later (and I know because I was concerned about the “1.5 hour table limit” so kept checking the time) and still no drinks or appetizers. We thought maybe the kitchen was backed up/short staffed but was unlikely because the place was only half full. Then, our ENTREES come out! No drinks, no appetizers, and all of our waters were emptied. The server asked if they could get us anything and I thought they were kidding. No drinks? No appetizers? We said we didn’t want the appetizers anymore since the moment was over. The server’s response was “Oh” and walked away. Comes back with 1/2 the tables drinks, and has to be reminded of the other 1/2 for the second time. Then…our appetizers come out? After we said we didn’t want them? Another “oh”. The thing that saved the day was the food, as always, 10/10. The ironic part was, the server was quick to the beat to get our check and run the card! I understand and respect large parties get auto-gratuity, and my family all worked in the industry for a long time, so usually START the tip at 20%, but we all agreed this server did NOTHING to deserve that auto-gratuity. I left feeling embarrassed I hyped up this place for everyone to walk out severely disappointed.
