   Such a disappointing experience. It was my 3rd time here and had great experiences the first two times. Family went for Christmas Eve dinner. Had 7:30 reservation and meal for 4 that wasn’t served until ~9pm. After all that wait, I had ordered filet mignon and squash. The filet was inedible so returned it and there was no time left to get another meal. The meat was very fatty. I had to spit out all three bites I ate, and the squash was cold (same with my Mom’s).My sister ordered a chicken salad without olives and only ate a few bites as it was doused in vinegar (and they left the olives on) and so she abandoned it. The zucchini appetizer for the table was very good and my other sister had broccolini which was excellent and the cauliflower was good. They of course have a great wine selection. Service was fine but not great, and restaurant was very cold. It was a night we get to celebrate once a year, and have the family together so was a shame to have this experience and no dinner.

   We shared small plates. Zucchini, dates, tri-tip, golden beets, sausage pizza and fig and prosciutto pizza. All were served timely, hot and were delicious. The service was terrific.

   My aunts were visiting from PR for the holidays and had never been, so I was excited for them to try it, as it’s much divergent different from their usual cuisine. Lance was our server, (highly recommend!!), and he did a great job taking his time to explain not only the menu but what makes sixty vines so special in the first place. My aunts ended up with a flight each and 5ozs for dinner! My mom (frequent flyer) got to try some of her old favorites as well as new varieties that she really enjoyed, and she and Lance worked on pairing the wines for every dish on the table. The food was spectacular as always, we got a burrata and beef rissoles to start. Entrees came our super fast, and super yummy 😏. I got the ny strip (classic), mom got the pork chop, tias got the shrimp campanelle and the bavette (second personal favorite of mine). though the cherry on top (pun absolutely intended, was the basque cheesecake. best dessert to get for a light sweet treat after a great meal!

   Sixty Vines on Sand Lake is a great spot for a chill lunch. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, and the wine selection is solid. Our server, Emma, was super friendly and made us feel really welcome. Definitely a good choice if you’re in the mood for good wine and easy-going service!

   We had a fantastic experience at Sixty Vines on Sand Lake! Our server, Cassidy, was wonderful—knowledgeable, attentive, and always there when we needed her. The bartender, Neville, recommended the Centerpiece Old Fashioned, and we ended up ordering one each—it was that good! The food was delicious, with huge portions that exceeded our expectations. Despite it being a busy holiday week, our meals came out in good time, and plates were cleared promptly. We'll definitely be back, and we’ll be sure to request Cassidy next time. Highly recommend!
