    I love my meals at Skylon with the lovely view and great ambience. The welcome was friendly. Our waiter, Felix, was outstanding- attentive and efficient and charming. I found the fishcake a bit heavy on potato but otherwise the food and wine were excellent as always.

    Skylon is my go to restaurant in the vicinity of Waterloo. It has an impressively large dining room looking over the Thames to Westminster. Despite its size it is not impersonal with the table and chairs being both stylish and comfortable. It has a ‘wow factor’ without trying too hard. Food and service is high end without being exceptional.

    Really delicious food. Attentive and friendly service. Alcohol slightly expensive but overall we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Great views too

    Have to mention that the Service by Brittany was superb . Our only small negative was the baked Alaska . The mango part was impossible to eat as frozen solid and jumped off our plate when trying to eat. Perhaps rather than dressing straight from freezer the mango part is thawed a little so it’s edible . Wine and other dishes excellent and Ambience wonderful as always and views delightful .

    Tables quite close together. Waitress was good although it seemed she had too many tables to cope with. Overall service this time not as good as it has been previously (not enough staff). The food was excellent though.

    Having been before to a superb bottomless offering we booked again. This occasion the vibe was calmer, however the service was appalling. Having requested the bottomless option we expected to be "topped up". However it was not until the end of the main course that anyone even made eye contact and then appeared near us. When they did, I highlighted the issue but then they was slow in returning. The food came quickly, not piping hot but tasted good. The restaurant was almost empty with lots of staff not doing a thing! Hoping this was a one off. Such a shame as great location and after a previous good experience was shocked at the difference in service.
