    Good quality cooking on display. My pork chop was sizeable and very tasty. my wife enjoyed her grilled chicken. Only criticism was the accompanying potato portion (mashed for me, new for her) was nowhere near big enough for the meat. Also, my glass of chianti tasted as though it had been left in an open bottle too long, was almost vinegary. Service, however, is very good, we arrived very early and shown to a bar table, and fetched promptly at our booking time to be shown to our table. 4 stars out of 5, just let down by accompanying portion size and quality of wine, so value for money only about 3.5 out of 5.

    Lovely staff. Great venue. Fantastic food (pumpkin soup, chicken pie + fries) we were too full for dessert! The lovely staff brought out a tiny chocolate with candle…nice touch! See you again!
