We are not expected to adhere to a certain style of BBQ by critics or long standing regional traditions. This allows us to adopt our favorite tastes from hot spots across the country and to create a unique blend that is Colorado BBQ.

We were hoping for a nice special occasion dining experience. Slow groovin is a bar, pool tables, loud crowd atmosphere, so just not what we were expecting or hoping for. We both ordered steaks and both were two levels overcooked from what we had ordered. Rolls were dried out like they were day old. Just a bummer for our special dinner.

You walk in and this doesn’t look like a place that will serve great food. But don’t judge this place by its cover. Great wings, nachos, and entrees. What a find!

Family dinner… we were recommended the nachos. I have never in my life seen nachos like that. They were ginormous. If you get them, share with 6-10 people. 2 people didn’t make a dent. Ribs and wings were good. Mac n cheese also good. Wasn’t best food I’ve ever had but good for a group

Resort quality food. Filled us up and was convenient to where we are staying but would not go back.

Tried to go early and saw open table but hostess said it was taken. Came back hour later and table was still open. Wanted to combo platter but they ran out of ribs and wings, our two primary reasons to go there. How does that happen at bbq place? One positive the nachos were good and huge so we left after that.

Food was delicious! Server was super nice and attentive. Atmosphere was 'happening' despite covid restrictions. Big TVs to watch NCAA tourny. Only drawback was the plates of food were too big. We could have had a 1/2 nachos for two people, although we finished it the next day. (would be a good option on the menu) We never had BBQ nachos before with pulled pork and bbq sauce, but they were awesome! Hopefully we'll get back to town again, and will certainly visit Slow Groovin if we do...
