The food was tasty but the serving staff seemed really ambivalent like they didn’t want to be there.

This place is AWESOME. I haven’t been out for a while because I have a baby at home, and this was so fun! It’s hard to find a relatively cheap restaurant with a bit of an experience to it in Vancouver. This had everything-is great for a date and also great for groups of friends to chill and drink with. There’s an area with couches where you can order buckets and play video games, and a fire if your wanting a bit of a romantic experience with someone. A magician was there the night I was there and he was amazing...I currently have a cross on my hand and I have no idea how he got it there. Angus the manager is so friendly and accommodating. I will be back and will be raving about this cool tiki experience to all my friends! Thank you guys for making my night special, even if it wasn’t the date set up I was planning. I’ll be back :)

I made a reservation for 8 for my friends birthday weeks in advance. When we arrived, the server scratched his head and said he needed to figure out where to seat us. There were only 2 other tables in the restaurant at the time and I was surprised they hadn’t arranged our seating already. We received our first drinks quite promptly but my friend who was 10 minutes late seemed to miss out, she didn’t get a drink or have any of our food orders taken until 30 minutes after the bulk of us had sat down. The service continued to get worse after this, we had to wave the server over every time we needed something. After 2 hours of being there (just had 2 drinks and appys) we had to ask 3 times for our bill before we got it and we were nearly late for the activity I had planned afterward. I had also asked mid meal if the staff could take our group photo at their next convenience and no one ever came to do that. This place is ok for casual drinks in a small group but I would not recommend hosting a function here as it became quite embarrassing.

Awesome ambiance at this gem of a tiki bar-restaurant. Food was great too and the bartender was very helpful and attentive. We are eager to go back!

Amazing ambiance. Our server was genuine please to talk to. The food far surpassed what we expected and will definitely return on a live performance night to get the full experience!

The server was very rude and forgot our orders. Most of us were driving home yet the server kept beeing pushy about ordering drinks even when we said no thank you a few times. She asked us while we were still waiting for our food if we wanted our bills. Felt like she was rushing us out because we were not ordering alcohol. We waited for over an hour for our pupu platter. Very disappointing as the 1st time we went the service was better.

Everything was great, until, our bills were brought over. We were a party of 7 and I did see on the menu that an 18% auto-gratuity would be added to the bill for groups of 6 or more. Completely acceptable. However, being a server for the past 8 years I know how important it is to remind your customers when they get their bills that due to the size of the group there has been an 18% auto-gratuity added to the bills. We were NOT told. Only when I asked out server did she say yes there was. This is an extremely dishonest and sneaky move on our servers behalf. Severs do this with the hopes that you will not notice the auto-grant and tip them even more on top of it. A good honest server will let their customers know when the bills come about the auto-grat. If they did a good job, a lot of the time they WILL be tipped on top. A well earned tip. This ruined the whole experience for myself and my party as we all mentioned it when we left. There are plenty of great places in Vancouver to go out, I will not be recommending or coming back here because of that experience.

This place has such a great vibe! Great spot for fun tiki drinks and cool snacks. Perfect for some time away from the usual. The Bar staff and servers were super friendly, made the experience even better. Thanks again!
