   Service from friendly staff brilliant, food outstanding! Hot, fresh and full of flavour. Would definitely recommend here for a nice sit down meal in Consett. Just as much money as anywhere else, but don’t mind paying when you get great quality food. My one teeny tiny little gripe was just as we were taking coat off to sit down (5:30) the girl said she needed table back for half 7, so could we leave by 10 past… just could have been put better that’s all. Can’t wait to return though..

   Booked for dinner and was blown away by the quality of the food. The range of options is fantastic and couldn't fault any of the choices we made. Well worth a visit and will be back there soon.

   Food is absolutely delicious so so good. Service very good, my only issue is how cold the restaurant is. We were so cold which makes you uncomfortable and as soon as we finnished food we had to leave to get warmed up.

   Some different options on the menu. The quality of the food was excellent and the staff were friendly and polite. It was our first visit but will definitely go again.

   This was our second time eating here. Compare this time to the first time, there was a few unfortunate differences. I won't go into lots of detail as we did make the issues aware to the owner, afterwards. The table (11) was in an odd area, between 2 big tables, it felt a little awkward. We also felt forgotten about. Many waitresses, but not fantastic service. Things had to be repeated to the waitresses, too. We were going to order desserts but considering how long it took to get seen, we gave up in the end. Service was overall unorganised and not as professional as I would expect. Which is very disappointing. The food, however, was very nice. The only thing I have to complain about the food is the Korma being a bit more spicy than normal. The bill, also, wasn't straight forward and there was issues with that. We'll be back, hoping the service will be better.

    + truly delicious Indian food. Portions not enormous but plenty. Beautiful presentation. Good value lunch menu. Drinks good value too. Especially the beer. So pleased there is somewhere so good in Consett. - had to ask for lunch menu. Grotty toilets but clean. Naan very small and more like pitta. Menu a little hard to understand due to lay out.
