   The ambiance and food was so good! I didn’t know this place existed. My friends and I were looking for somewhere new in the west village and this was such a good find! The food was so good.

   Wonderful dining experience in a beautiful setting. Risotto and Halibut were exceptional. Lovely and well trained staff.

   I loved the atmosphere, and our waiter was super friendly. I was a bit disappointed in my New York strip steak, though. I ordered it medium rare, but it was much more rare than medium. It was fleshy and wasn't served hot. I would have preferred that it not be sliced in half and served as an actual strip.

   Had been for drinks and wanted to go try it for dinner. Food was excellent! Had the special that came highly recommended from manager. Good advice! Place closes early. Last call around 935. But you can finish drinks in the lobby. Very charming spot.

   I loved the fact that the dishes were what you’d expect to see on a brunch menu but taken up a notch by their unique flavors. Take the chicken and waffles - instead Society Cafe turned it into a chicken waffle sandwich with such a yummy sauce! YUM! Regular drip coffee - tasted heavenly! The service was great. Our server, Jesus, gave us such a wholesome experience- he’s a gem! The ambience - delightful! A wonderful experience for a couple that rarely gets to go out…so glad I found it!

   Hi Antonio, We are so sorry that this was your experience. We generally try not to rush our guests and want to provide a relaxed evening to those who join us, but there is a clear distinction between slow service and giving our guests space and we can certainly recognize that. The coffee was also shocking to hear about as we regularly calibrate our system and we have a long standing relationship with our coffee purveyor, Coffee of Grace. We like to think of our cocktails as a bit classic but we stick to high quality ingredients and fresh juices. Our kitchen is happy to cook meat to temperatures requested by our guests. We also have delicious house-made desserts! Again, we are very sorry to hear about your experience. If there are any other details we are open to discuss and improve!
