   The service was great. The pizza was undercooked and could’ve been so much better if it had stayed in the oven a couple minutes longer to crisp up and further melt the cheese. There is also a lot of sauce on the pizza. I ordered an espresso martini that was so sweet and creamy that my daughter wouldn’t even drink it.

   We had great hopes for this restaurant. Unfortunately, it was not a great dining experience. We were a party of six and two of us ordered the risotto. Our meal did not arrive until the others were halfway through their meal, and our food was lukewarm at best. While the flavours were good, being cold, ruined the dish. One of our members was coeliac and asked if the chocolate pudding was gluten-free. She was told it was, and it turned out that it was not. One of our parties dessert dish broke while he was eating his dessert. On the whole not a great night.

   I love this restaurant. Great food and vibe. service is ok but could've been more attentive. They were busy so it's kind of understandable

   The staff are lovely and the food is delicious. It’s worth a visit. The food is presented well. We sat outside and appreciated being there. The food had the right texture and flavour. I would happily return

   Our first time in NOLA and at Sofia. Our server, Cece, was friendly, attentive and very helpful. My wife and I shared insalata mista, polpette, calcio e pepe, and the tagliatelle ragù with duck. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend Sofia.

   Sofia has been a longtime favorite for my family—we eat here almost weekly because the food is great, and there’s something for everyone. As someone who’s gluten-free, I especially love their bread. Normally, we have a wonderful time, but our most recent visit was beyond disappointing. From the start, our server was incredibly rude. We waited 30 minutes before she even came to our table, and when we ordered appetizers, she criticized us for ordering “too much,” making us feel uncomfortable and embarrassed. Knowing service might be slow, we placed our full order at the same time, but our food still took over an hour to arrive. When it finally came, my dad’s pizza was cold, and my mom’s was soggy—clearly sitting out for too long. To make matters worse, when we asked for a manager, no one came. Instead, someone I believe to be the hostess stopped by without introducing herself. She reluctantly took the pizzas off the bill but didn’t apologize or even acknowledge our frustration. It was a shocking experience, especially considering how often we dine here. We’ve always loved Sofia, but this visit left us questioning whether we’ll return. We expect better service—especially as loyal customers. Hopefully, this was just a one-off, but it was truly an uncomfortable and unenjoyable experience. I’d love to hear back from a manager to discuss the situation and make things right before we come back.

   The pasta was great, but the pizza was not. Undercooked and floppy. Drinks were great, when we got them. Service was slow and we never received our last order of cocktails.

    We shared the Marguerite Pizza and Pasta Ala Vodka. Both were excellent and comparable to New York experiences, in a very good way. We shared the dessert, Budini and it was excellent and one of my most memorable desserts. We tried to figure out how the chocolate paper was made and we think we figured it out. Excellent.
