Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
SoHo Slice delights with "superb quality" and "generous toppings" on its pizzas. While some dishes like the penne ala vodka are labeled as "the best," service and ambiance can be inconsistent. Reservations are recommended due to popularity. Despite some initial hiccups, the friendly staff and "great vibe" promise a fun dining experience.

Good not great. Wings were very good, pizza was alright. Thought it was a bit flat and needed more seasoning. It’s also not really NY style as the name might imply.

The penne ala Vodka is the BEST!! Can’t go wrong with any of their pizzas either!

We had a good night. Nice environment but my ricotta pizza has no flavor. I ate one piece and tossed the rest. I was sad! My family did enjoy their food though

We were a group of 6 for dinner. We all ordered dinners which were very enjoyable. The eggplant parm was very good. Excellent flavored red sauce.

The pizza and sandwich were both solid—especially the NY-style pizza, which was done really well. Hoping they can maintain that level of quality over time. Service was just okay, which seems to be a trend with this restaurant group (similar experiences at Blackwall Hitch and Atlantic Social). So, if top-tier service is a priority for you, this might not be the spot. The atmosphere is lacking—it feels a bit bare, with no art on the walls and a wide-open layout that makes it feel unfinished. Could use a bit more personality to match the food.

First of all, strange name for a restaurant which does not serve pizza by the slice. Decor is fresh and modern. Service is very attentive. Four cheese pizza had nice crust but was ultra bland in taste. Filet mignon rigatoni was tasty but unexpected in a sort of brown scallopini type sauce. Noise level in restaurant was high, considering it was half empty. Willing to try again with some other entree choices.

Can’t say enough good things about this new pizza/Italian place that recently opened in the former Atlantic Social location on Rt.1. Drinks are reasonably priced, and while the cost of the pizza is in the “gourmet” range, the quality is superb, the toppings are generous, the sauce is truly homemade tasting, and the service was excellent and friendly. Every table was filled, so it pays to make a reservation.

Unfortunately, we did not get to enjoy the experience here. We had confirmed reservations for Monday, March 24, at 5:00, for a party of 6. When we arrived , this place was closed, not open on Mondays!!!???? Received several written confirmation notices for this time and date. We were all so looking forward to this experience and had to scramble to find another place to dine. What kind of a business dues this????

I visited Soho Slice Pizzeria in Rehoboth last night for dinner and had a mixed experience. Upon arrival, the first thing I noticed was the all-black décor. It gave the place a darker, somewhat uninviting feel. That said, the host was very kind. I did make a reservation, as I was told they wouldn’t seat anyone without a reservation, we were seated rather quickly, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the menu—especially as someone who is gluten-free. They do offer a cauliflower crust (which I’m grateful for), but beyond that, there were only two maybe 3 other gluten-free options on the menu. None of the pastas are gluten-free, and the pizza choices were pretty limited, especially if you’re not a fan of cream-based sauces (which I’m not). I opted to build my own pizza. While I liked having that option, the pricing was a bit much—there’s an initial charge for the base, then extra charges for each topping and again for the gluten-free crust. The pizza itself was decent. The crust was crispy (I’d give it a 7/10, mostly because cauliflower crust isn’t my favorite). The sauce was okay but a bit bland, and unfortunately there were large parts of the pizza without any sauce at all. That said, the pepperoni ratio was spot on. The atmosphere was another drawback. The music was incredibly loud—we found ourselves shouting over it, which made it tough to have a conversation, even with just the two of us. It was a Sunday night and not very crowded, which surprised me a bit. On the positive side, our waitress was very attentive and kind, and that definitely made the experience better. This place used to be a go-to because of the convenient location, and I had high hopes for enjoying it again. But with the limited gluten-free options and loud environment, I probably won’t be back too often.

Great place to have a fun, casual dinner. We got there before our reservation, had a couple of beers at the bar, and then went to our table. Service was prompt. Food was fine. SoHo Slice exceeded my expectations.
