   On the Cinco de Mayo menu, there was SOL’s spin the wheel digital game, and I won a free burrito at my next visit. I thought that I get the email for my free burrito, but I didn’t.

   First time here and it was really fun! It was cinco de mayo so the place was lively! Server was kind and helpful. Food was great. Loved the chips with salsa and beans dip. Both dips were yummy and smoky. (We both felt like this was better than Javier’s or any other upscale Mexican place!!) The Margaritas were delicious as well. I got the watermelon with tajin on the rim. We will be returning for the delicious tacos and giant quesadillas!

   Allergy sufferers beware. I ordered the guacamole without peppers. It was served to me with peppers. Luckily I asked when it was served and it was taken away. The waitress was good about getting another order to me. I ordered the ceviche without peppers. It too was served to me with peppers. Again I asked when it was served and it was taken away. This time I spoke to the manager. He got me another order without peppers. Two mistakes in one order is unacceptable! The manager was apologetic and took my meal off the ticket. The waitress was also good and apologized. On a side note, if you are gluten free, don’t bother. They marinate almost all meat and fish in something that has gluten so I was told I could only have a salad or carnitas and that was it on the whole menu. When the waitress went back to speak with the chef he said he could also make the ceviche gluten free. Very limited choices for gluten free and they are very careless about allergies.

   Love Taco and Tequila Tuesdays! Great food and nice live music. (At one point, the piped in music got really loud, but once the live music started, the volume dropped and my friend and I didn’t have to yell at each other over the music.). Service was attentive but not oppressive. Street tacos and the esquites are a must!

    Great food. The server was not very knowledgeable on the plates we asked about. The beer was warm from the neck of the bottle and up. Other than that it was great.
