   Having had two prior excellent dining experiences, we’ve come to the conclusion while the fanfare and food choices may be positive, too many glitches would prevent us from returning. Appetizers, including asparagus with ribeye and cauliflower were wonderful . Presentation was wonderful. Drink choices were certainly plenty of as there is a large focus on alcohol at this establishment. We did appreciate that they remembered that it was my daughter‘s birthday and the fanfare around It was great. However, we had not quite finished at 9 PM and it appeared there was only one waiter in the entire restaurant. We had to wait a very long time to get our bill and then to pay. Additionally, we ordered both flank, steak and skirt steak and while ordered, medium rare, they literally came out raw. They give you a heating oven which forces you pretty much to cut the pieces and sometimes wait 10 or 15 minutes while the meat is cooking to the heating level you requested. This is not a Korean barbecue where I should have to do so much work when you’re paying $40-$80 for a steak. This is a reputed steakhouse so when you asked for a medium rare how two different dishes can come out raw is beyond me. I have to say that the seasoning on the skirt steak was outstanding while no one really liked the flank steak at our table. Ambience as usual was great Also, I appreciated that they did not separate the smokers from the non-smokers as they had in the past. I just can’t get over the fact that we had two different steaks at a steakhouse that came out raw and they put the burden on the customer to then heat their own stake on a portable grill on the table to their liking. Each time we were there we noticed that after we ate our meal, it always seemed that the servers disappeared and after they hand you the bill it always takes a long time for them to close out the bill. Probably the only restaurant we will not return to when we come back to Cancun . Sorry. 🙁

   The server was so friendly and attentive, it was a great experience. The food was delicious and the drinks were refreshing. I’ll definitely be back!

   Service was amazing. Constantly felt attended to, and the server was kind enough to toss a margarita on the house as I was paying the check. Food was nicely presented, tasty, and didn’t take long to get my order. The complementary chips with various types of salsa and a bean dip were very good. Only complaint is the music was slightly too loud, but overall enjoyed the experience.

   Love Sonora Grill Food is amazing Service is excellent Acoustics are difficult so if you need a more quiet dinner this doesn’t work

   Pésimo servicio de los hostess, aun con reservación más de 30 minutos en espera y al final no me dieron mesa, me retiré y fui a cenar a un mejor lugar, no sirve de nada reservar con ellos, asignan mesa como consideran sin respetar las reservaciones, dejan a la gente esperando en la entrada para que se vea lleno el restaurante teniendo mesas disponibles, terrible atención y servicio, invitado para jamás regresar.

   pésimo servicio, se tardaron 25 minutos para darnos la mesa a pesar de tener reservación. se tardaron en ir a tomar la orden y se tardaron más de 1 hora en llevar los alimentos y eso porque estuvimos preguntando e insistiendo por los platillos. Por último, la comida que sobró la pedimos para llevar y al llegar a casa nos llevamos la sorpresa de que no pusieron toda la comida, faltaba carne… en fin, no regresaría

   La comida está aceptable. Las bebidas bien. El servicio empezó bien y después decayó. Tardaban un poco en entregar cosas que pedíamos adicionales. Las papas estuvieron frías al momento de la entrega. Puntos positivos: Buen recibimiento. Al final, los hosts nos ofrecieron una foto de recuerdo, buen toque! Puntos negativos: Demora en entrega de cosas adicionales (una bebida adicional y tortillas adicionales tardaron 15 minutos en llegar). El mesero que nos atendió empezó a ser un poco rudo, cuando cerramos la cuenta y dimos la propina, sentí su molestia.
