The ambiance was good for about 30 minutes, and then they started playing club music that didn’t fit the vibe well. It was super loud, so loud that we had to ask our server to turn it down. The food was okay but definitely not worth $19 that I paid for the Sophie burger. The drinks were actually great! Lastly, I do want to point out that they do have a 20% service fee and a 3% no cash fee added onto your bill. Personally, I feel like our waiter did an okay job, knowing he was automatically was going to get a tip, so that was annoying. We had to keep asking to refill our drinks & remove our plates from the table. Probably won’t come back, or if I do, just go to the bar.

Met my girlfriends here and sat outside on the terrace, vibes were great!! The food menu is sort of limited, I ordered a charcuterie board and it was ok but my friends raved about their burger. I had a delicious lychee martini but did notice that the glass size got smaller on the second round. The service is the only thing that was not great. The young man was distracted and disappeared for long patches of time so by the time he came back HH pricing was over. I will definitely be back, very cute spot!

We ordered a B&G Bordeaux, first the server brings us a white and without showing us was attempting to open .. I looked up and quickly realized that he had the wrong bottle. Then he brings the red, he takes the wine opener and starts stabbing the foil to get it off.. that should be our cue to leave when the server doesn’t know how to open a $50 bottle. Then the super aged and dried wagyu with stale cheese showed up on the charcuterie board. It was just a bad bad experience overall

I was really looking forward to trying this new spot downtown. The decor and ambiance have a cool beatnik vibe, which initially set a great tone. I went for brunch and ordered an Americano from their “coffee bar” menu, but the server told me their coffee machine was broken and instead offered an espresso martini. However, as brunch went on, I noticed two other customers being served coffee, which was frustrating. My fiancé and I were seated between two other parties, and the space was so tight that people kept bumping into us. It was uncomfortable, and we had to ask twice before we were finally moved—despite several empty tables being available. The person who finally accommodated us, whom I assumed was the GM, didn’t seem too eager to help. As for the food, it was just okay. I had the steak and eggs, which were cooked well, but the French fries were a disappointment—they tasted like they’d been fried in old, dirty oil. Maybe this place is better suited for after-dinner cocktails, but I won’t be coming back to find out.

This was the worst service everr! Had a reservation for 10 people for my wife’s birthday. We got there a bit early so we sat at there bar to get a drink before we got sat. It took them until I got up from the bar to ask if we were going to be sat 10 minutes after our reservation. Mind you it was empty at the time! Then when we got sat and took 30 minutes to get service! Would not recommend

The venue is pretty and the drinks are very yummy. The over all food and drinks is expensive though and I do not like that they have an automatice 20% service fee. Waiter was great!

Had a terrible experience. It was cold and none of there patio heaters were on, when we asked them to turn it on they just said we’re out of gas. We then decided to leave as the servers were not paying much attention to us, on my way out I was groped by a drunk male, who was clearly intoxicated but still allowed to be in the facility. I complained the the security and left. I will never go to this place again

I had a disappointing experience at Sophie’s Cocktail Bar. Despite having a reservation, they couldn’t accommodate us and ended up seating us at small round tables pushed together by the entrance—definitely not ideal. It took forever to get our water, and even longer to get our cocktails. Meanwhile, other guests were seated at much better tables. Our waitress barely checked in on us, and when we finally got our water cups, one had leftover drink residue from a previous patron. We asked for a replacement, but instead, they brought us the smallest cup of water with no ice. I had been looking forward to this place all week, but the poor service really let it down. Definitely not the experience I expected from a place that claims to offer quality cocktails.
