Rude host (tall guy with a beard) with a bad customer service attitude. Entering the space (with a reservation BTW) and be (un)welcomed by this character set a negative tone for the dining experience. The food and drinks were standard for a “gastropub,” nothing special. The service by the waitstaff was indifferent and slow. Go there as a last resort.

Our food was not cooked to order and there were several mistakes. Our server was not attentive and we frequently had to wait to ask for things. Overall the ambiance was good and the food (while incorrect from what we ordered) was delicious.

Lovely date night! We enjoyed the happy surprise of the Dine Out Boston menu, with both pizza and bolognese options. 😍 oh, and the celery bisque was out of this world.

Source never disappoints! From the excellent staff, to the delicious go to (but at the same time not run of the mill) cocktails and mocktails, to the always fresh and always delicious food, to the perfectly timed service, we had another great time at this restaurant. Thank you. Always worth the trip into the Square for Source.
