It’s all about a different atmosphere. It’s about good food. It’s about good service and attention to detail. There’s a reason Sous Le Nez is renowned in Leeds. In fact, our award-winning basement bar and bistro – in a handy, city centre location – has been providing mouth-watering food to Leeds diners since 1991. Our wine list is as unique as it is extensive, and our lunchtime and evening menus are creative and very popular.

We had a post business day meal and we all had food off the menu du jour. Everyone enjoyed the quality of the food and the house red wine was fantastic. Always been a pleasure to go to Sous Le Nez and will look forward to going back again soon

As usual, an excellent meal; an 80+ year-old eating with his 20+ young great niece, and both of us were very pleased. Don't miss the soup - fish or onion.

A hidden gem right in the centre of Leeds - easily missed so take the time to locate (3 mins. from station) and entrance is down a basement stairway. Menu is extensive and with a very French flavour. Quality is amazing and service was excellent. Wife and I both had fish soup as starter - could have been in France it was so good. She then had calves liver having not had it for many years and it was excellent. I had duo of pork - t pieces of pork wellington and a piece of pork belly. Superbly cooked on all counts, along with the dauphinoise potatoes. We never pass on dessert but on this occasion we couldn't possibly do it justice and had to leave it at 2 courses...choose wisely if having 3! Good range of wines and atmosphere was great - busy but cosy. Visited here on business trip several years ago and was so impressed returned with my wife during a short break - stuck in my memory as it had been so good the first time.
