   Great food however I do not believe my husband’s shellfish allergy was relayed to the kitchen. By the end of dinner his eye started to swell. Be aware of lack of attention to detail.

   Disappointing Experience Unfortunately, the dining experience fell far below expectations. The food was significantly overpriced compared to other restaurants in the Buckhead area. Service was mediocre at best, which added to the overall frustration. I genuinely hate to leave such a poor review because I love the other restaurants in the brand.    The coffee was cold, and unfortunately, that set the tone. The complimentary bread was the best part of the meal. The deviled eggs were solid too. Beyond that, it went downhill. The fried chicken was bland, the waffles were basic, and the shrimp and grits had zero flavor. On top of that, it was extremely overpriced. Great service, but the food was a letdown. Definitely not coming back.

   Brought a very important customer to South City Kitchen for dinner and we had a wonderful time. Our server was outstanding, always seemed to time checking on us well. Food was terrific, it was a great night!

   Terrible Experience with Service I rarely leave reviews, but our recent experience at South City Kitchen Buckhead was incredibly disappointing. It took nearly two hours for our food to arrive, with little to no communication or updates from the staff. What was meant to be a relaxing meal turned into a frustrating wait, and by the time our food finally came, the experience was already soured. For a restaurant of this caliber, I expected much better service and attentiveness. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning anytime soon.

    This was our third visit to South City Kitchen. The fact that we make a point of visiting while in Atlanta from out of town says volumes. The food is delicious. We particularly enjoy the she crab soup, the fried green tomatoes, and the deviled eggs. This visit we both had salads as our entree, and we were very pleased with that choice. The entire staff was extremely welcoming. Our server Jennifer made excellent recommendations and was very attentive despite also serving a very large party nearby. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Atlanta.
