   Hi, Overall, disappointed. I received a recommendation from a friend about the Squire's landing and booked straight away. My partner and Mum were very looking forward to the evening. A big mistake was made from the beginning. We received our food within 10 minutes of ordering it and by that time we had no water or drinks, which we had order prior. We wanted to take our time and enjoy the evening at the window (which we paid extra for). There was a male waiter who was quite abrupt and impatient with us also, which was quite frustrating too. It was quite frustrating as it was my Mum's last night in Sydney and so yes, overall below par.

   Views are lovely and location is great but value for money is not! Way overpriced for the quality and portion size. Service was good when we got it but was hard to get. Would go back for a drink but not a meal.

   Our service from our waiter Camille was excellent. The food was delicious. The private dining room and the view was very special. The experience paying the bill was atrocious. Check your paid deposit comes off the bill!

   We had such an incredible view. The staff were professional and were very attentive. We had a wonderful dining experiance. Would definitely recommend and come back again in future.

   Overall experience is below our expectation. The only perfect thing is the steak and cocktails, other food was so-so. Sweet potato fries were overcooked, the steak gravy was very watery. Unfortunately, we’re not feel satisfied with the hospitality. Nobody asked us if they should clear up the table after we finished our food and just sitting there for 15 minutes. The waiters were nice when we asked stuff, but they didn’t even approached us to ask or offer anything other than our orders.

   We went for Melbourne Cup and booked the restaurant. Couldn't fault the food, it was delicious. The reason it didn't get full rating was more for the atmosphere. There wasn't any sweep stakes or prizes on our floor. Just didn't have a vibe for the Melbourne Cup we were looking for. But as I said the food was delicious and couldn't fault it.

   It is a beautiful establishment with a great view of the opera, but many things are to be seen: - the reception of certain server is more than acceptable especially that of a blonde behind the bar bar is catastrophic. - Also I had duck served without accompaniment. - I ask for a glass of sweet wine I find myself with a glass of dry wine served in the pitcher. - we arrived at 9pm just arrived that you should already ordered.. once the dish is finished it was no longer possible to take a dessert.. Thank you to the French waiter for trying everything to have a glass of sweet wine but it was not possible. My experience is very disappointing.

    Not nice to be rushed out, right after you have ordered your second bottle of wine, due to time constraints and being told it’s been stated under theit booking terms… How about your responsibility to remind me that we don’t have enough time to finish/enjoy our second bottle?
