I will preface this review by pointing out that we ate at St Neo’s on Easter Sunday evening. We were one of only two parties in the dining room. So it lacked the energy of a full restaurant Service was attentive and professional. The menu is tight and well-balanced in true brasserie style. The food is solid, if a little uninspired. The baked Brie would liked to be cut up a bit more and served with an apricot marmalade rather than the dried fruit. The tomato confit with the grilled octopus needs to be punched up. It was, however, perfect with the sole en papillote which is rather bland otherwise. The seafood gnocchi had a bit too much cheese and was asking for a good grind of black pepper The wine list is good, if a little on the high end. There are no house wine options. Overall prices are in keeping with other hotel restaurants - which is too say not overly expensive, but a bit high for the quality of the food. I don’t think I would choose to eat there again. Though I might check out the bar during happy hour

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We’re sorry the ambiance felt a little flat — holidays can sometimes be quieter than usual — but we’re glad our team made you feel well taken care of. We appreciate your honest notes on the menu; these are exactly the kind of insights that help us fine-tune the experience. We’d love for you to give the bar a try — happy hour has a different vibe, and we think you might find a few surprises there. Thanks again for dining with us.

Oysters and martini tasted great. We ordered the butter plate and that was ok but I would love to have the bread warm (even a little) to melt some of the butter. Felt like I was eating butter chunks on cool bread. Our entrees were just ok - nothing was seasoned properly and the sole en papillote was set on a mush of veggies. I’ve heard great things about the restaurant so I was a little disappointed in our meal. I would encourage more attention to detail for the server we had.

Hi Jennifer, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the oysters and martini, but I'm sorry to learn that the rest of your meal didn’t quite live up to expectations—especially after hearing great things about us. We really appreciate your specific notes about the butter plate and the entrees. Details like warm bread and well-balanced seasoning are small but important touches, and we agree they make a big difference. We’ve also shared your comments about service with our team as part of our ongoing training. Your input helps us improve, and we’d love the chance to give you a more consistent and memorable experience next time. Warmly, Peter

The food and service were excellent! We had the baked Brie which was delicious followed by the short rib bourguignon and it was absolutely delicious 10/10! Had the pecan pie for dessert and that also did not disappoint.

We had reservations and were seated about 10 min after our reservation. We enjoyed our cocktail the most “The Foxy Thief”. Friendly bartender. Once seated, it took about 20 min for a server to stop at our table. She offered us a cocktail which took another 30 min. Once seated, it took over an hour to get our dinner. We ordered the bread/butter appetizer and the toasted sourdough bread was burnt. I ordered the pork chop that came with roasted potatoes. The pork chop was over seared, and potatoes were burnt. Our waitress agreed & apologized. She offered us a free dessert which we declined and comped the bread and cocktails. Maybe this was just an off night and restaurant was busy. Despite a disappointing meal, I appreciated the waitress’ acknowledgement and took steps to provide good customer service as a result! I would give it another chance!

Hi Amy, Thank you so much for your honest and gracious review. I’m truly sorry that your experience with us was inconsistent—especially with the delays, the quality of the bread and pork chop, and the long wait times. That’s not the level of service or food we aim to deliver, and I completely understand your disappointment. That said, I really appreciate your kind words about the cocktail (we’re proud of The Foxy Thief!) and your recognition of the steps your server took to make things right. We know not every night goes perfectly, but we always want to own our mistakes and do our best to make it up to our guests. It means a lot that you’re willing to give us another chance. We’d love the opportunity to give you the full, five-star experience next time. Warmly, Peter

Staff were very nice. Great atmosphere. Good variety of food. I had difficulty choosing between 4 items. The crab cake appetizer was excellent. My friends had the Lemon sole and they loved it. Diver scallops A+.
