Stateside Kitchen offers a vibrant atmosphere with a "chic vibe" and a lively DJ that sets the perfect backdrop for brunch or dinner. While service can be hit or miss, the food often impresses, with standout dishes like the "phenomenal" brunch options and creative cocktails. Ambiance of the place was amazing, just like in the pictures. A little underwhelmed by the service as a whole, given we had said in our reservation it was our anniversary. NOT looking for a free desert, but every upscale restaurant we've been to at a minimum acknowledges it when you're being sat, as well as part of the greeting by the wait staff. Overall our waitress was great, she was very kind and helpful, but failed to check back with us after our meals were delivered. This is where things started to fall off. Scallops were OK, nothing special, and four small/medium sized scallops was a little on the light side compared to other places and portions. The chicken plate was absolutely smothered in sauce, which made how dry it was utterly surprising. Not only could my wife not finish it, we noticed a couple other tables around us that had ordered the same and had left significant amounts on their plates also. Tab to quality of food was certainly not there, staff was OK, and again ambiance was very nice... but overall not worth recommending. After seeing mixed reviews prior to our trip, I would anticipate it's a "hit or miss" kind of place, at best.

The venue is super cute, and the food and drinks were great. Unfortunately, the service was lacking. Our waitress was friendly, but it seemed like they were either understaffed or overwhelmed. It took at least 20 minutes for our drink orders to be taken after we were seated, and then another 30 minutes for most of the drinks to arrive, with the rest trickling in 10-15 minutes later. The food took forever, but this seems more understandable due to our group size. However, not once did the waitress apologize for any delays, which made it feel like this might be a common occurrence. These delays were especially frustrating since we had already been asked to push back our reservation by 45 minutes that morning, just a few hours before our original time, due to an accidental double booking. We were all in from out of town and had a schedule for the day, which this change threw off. Given that there's a cancellation fee for canceling more than 24 hours in advance, I feel that if the restaurant needs to change your reservation, there should be some compensation applied to the bill. They did offer free shots for our group of 11 as an apology for the double booking which was a nice gesture. However, a 22% gratuity was automatically added to our bill, which came to around $100 tip for our waitress. While I understand that’s common for large groups, I expect a higher level of service if the tip is already included. Given the slow service and the issues with staffing, I’m not sure I’d return if this is the standard experience. I would not recommend Stateside Kitchen for large groups.

Was so amazing! We booked 2 weeks in advance, and glad we did. Debby, our waitress, was FANTASTIC - literally started our trip to Nashville off completely right, she was so kind and sweet and a fantastic waitress coming from one herself. The food was phenomenal, the drinks were so creative and you definitely got the alcohol you paid for! Would recommend to anyone visiting Nash!

The service was absolutely terrible. We waited 45 minutes for our food and it is literally so loud that you can’t hear across the table

I went with a larger group of girlfriends for Sunday Brunch. We all really enjoyed the food. It was a bit loud but it added to the energetic atmosphere. The space inside is beautiful and our waiter was excellent. The only thing that was lacking was the drink/cocktail options. Not many options to choose from.

Apparently the restaurant really doesn’t get flowing until 11:00 am. We got there early since our flight was early and it was difficult to get service initially. Once we did everyone was super nice! And the food was great. It’s a very fun, chic vibe with the DJ. It’s a hot spot for brunch!

I recently visited Stateside Kitchen in Nashville for Saturday brunch, and it was a delightful experience! The atmosphere was vibrant yet cozy, making it a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a meal. I tried the Biscuits and Gravy and the Hangover Burrito, and both dishes were fantastic. The biscuits were fluffy and paired perfectly with the rich, flavorful chorizo gravy. The Hangover Burrito was a hearty and satisfying choice, packed with soft scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, chorizo, and a touch of pico de gallo for a fresh kick. It was comfort food at its finest! The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. Whether you're a local or just visiting Nashville, I highly recommend Stateside Kitchen for a brunch that hits all the right notes.
