   Ambiance was very nice. Went for a birthday brunch.one person ordered herbal tea, was told they only had green tea, but came back after awhile and said there was no tea at all. Ordered an appetizer and entree. After a long wait the waiter told us the entree was ready but they were waiting for the appetizer to be prepared. She asked if we wanted to wait for the appetizer. We told her no, just bring the entree. The entree was “cold” when it arrived, then half way through the meal the appetizer came which was very hot. The mimosas were just okay, more orange juice than bubbly. I may give them another try, but it just okay. Nothing special for the price of the food.

   Very enjoyable dinner - Food quality, friendly Hostess, Manager & Waiter - all professional & excellent. Finally, a quality Elk Grove restaurant with a great menu & food. Definitely return & recommend to others.

   Service started off a bit slowly. It took about 15 minutes before we received water and another 5 minutes before our server arrived at our table. But from the time Holly arrived, until we completed our meal and departed, she was attentive, professional and super pleasant and friendly. My order of the lobster benedict was scrumptious! The lobster was seasoned perfectly and it was tender and plump. The hollandaise sauce was delicious and smooth. The egg was poached superbly and oozed out just as I like it. The breakfast potatoes were perfect for me-crispy on the outside and nice and tender on the inside. My mango mimosa was the perfect accompaniment to my meal and I was extremely satisfied. My companion was less pleased with her brunch choice of Cajun sausage omelette. She said it wasn’t seasoned and had no flavor and she didn’t finish it. Holly observed that the bulk of the omelette was uneaten and asked if she didn’t like it and seemed genuinely interested to understand what made my friend dissatisfied with it. She offered alternatives and my companion ordered calamari to go. We’ve eaten at Station 16 several times since they opened in Elk Grove and calamari is one of her favorites. We were pleasantly surprised when the manager comped the calamari due to the omelette displeasure. We thought that was a very nice touch and completed unexpected. The decor is stately with an understated elegance while also being somewhat minimal. I found it comforting and relaxing. Booths are comfortable with just a cute light for table decor. Overall, I’ve found the food to be good, I like the ambiance and I will return.

   Overall, it was a good experience. Wait staff were congenial and friendly and efficient. We were seated right away at a nice comfortable booth. Food was wonderful and served promptly and at the correct temperature. If I had one complaint it was that in a restaurant that seeks to be more upscale version of most that you find In Elk Grove they should dispense with the TV in the large bar area dining area as it is a distraction. But other than that, we had a great time.m and a good dining experience.

   The food was good, but they need more help or better coordination. First, they brought and opened the wrong wine. They corrected this error but then forgot to bring a beer to one in our party. We brought this to their attention, and they brought the beer. We placed our orders. The appetizer we ordered arrived together with an order of clams which we had not ordered. Some in our party had ordered soup or salad as a second course. Well, it all came at the same time together with our main course. I had ordered soup, and it was good, but barely warm - like it had been sitting around for a while. My main course was good. This was the second time we had eaten at Station 16. The first time was during off hours, and we had a very good experience. This recent visit was on a Friday evening and the experience was less satisfying.

   Food kinda sucked. Waiter was super slow. Took like 20 min just to get our glass of wine. Took forever till they came back to the table as well. Wouldn’t go back

    Unfortunately, noise really carries and right in the middle of the dining room was a large party with a child that screamed almost nonstop for an hour...and parents never even tried to calm the child...
