   Nice place; bad reservations system made worse by inexperienced staff at the door as greeters- and there are several of them. Every single time we have been there for dinner, despite having several tables available, the hostess has made us stand and wait anywhere in between 10 - 20 minutes, when we have to approach and complain by the wait. Then they sit us. We arrive on time, we expect to be seated on time. That is what a 5 star restaurant does- we do our part, you do your part, it is a hospitality business after all. That front desk needs a seasoned manager professional not a grouping of immature, inexperienced staff. Be better, do better, make a change so you can truly deliver of expectations.

   Great dinner. From appetizer, to entree and dessert everything was perfect. I've read reviews where some complain about the prices, but a quick review of the menu online would let one know what the price point of this restaurant is. I found it comparable to other high end steak houses. Overall a great experience and I will dine here again when I am back in San Diego.

   What an exceptional dining experience I had! The culinary offerings were delectable, and I must emphasize the exceptional service provided by our server, Angela. Her extensive knowledge and attentiveness were instrumental in selecting the most suitable dishes and sides for our meal.

   Great dinner foods amazing. Loved the chicken fried lobster. Like a Popeyes lobster. Had a 12oz fillet, very good, just undercooked for medium plus. Service was soild. The ambience was just busy like extremely packed restraunt. But a Saturday night so what do I expect, and for being as packed as they were they still executed how they should. Only knock on em, the corkage fee was 85. I brought in a magnum bottle of Caymus. They said it’d be 85x2 so 170 just to open the bottle. Highest corkage I’ve ever seen. Oh and if theres no room at the bar and your waiting to be sat, there is absolutely no where to stand and wait or sit n wait. So it caused a huge traffic line of people at the front door. h

   This is a true fine dining experience in San Diego. The restaurant is very classy with its services and lived up to our expectations. The manager was very nice to give us free desserts after our very apologetic waiter accidentally spilled water on our table. Classy reaction from a classy staff.

   Great and beautiful dining venue. It does become a bit too noisy as customers are speaking very loud just to be heard. The food was excellent as usual and the service was outstanding. Christina is just so welcoming, knowledgeable and attentive. The rest of the Steak 48 team left no stone unturned. If you are looking for a memorable experience and wonderful food you must try Steak 48.

    Celebrating my daughters 40th with Joseph and his team and they did a fantastic job of accommodating our party of 11. Joseph was friendly knowledgeable and really made us feel welcomed. Thank you Joseph.
