   The food was delicious and the portions are huge. Very nice service and attentive waiters. Very Generous pours of wine. My only complaint and recommendation to the owner is to do something about the fruit flies. They are visible and we felt uncomfortable a few times as they were around our table. An issue like that can quickly get worse and stop people from returning. This is the only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars.

   The waiter was too familiar with us and took too much liberty to the point that it was uncomfortable, jokingly saying, no more bread for you,” and took our bread basket away before bringing our appetizer out. He was too intrusive with his constant interruptions during our dinner conversation. He seemed upset that we did not order more food than we needed or wanted for our dinner. I have eaten here before and at your other Nassau county location, but I will never bring a guest here again if I want to talk over dinner. The food and ambience are excellent and service otherwise stellar with the exception of being unnecessarily intrusive by a waiter that really needs to learn to learn to pace himself based on the needs of the customer.

   Six of us had a fabulous dinner at Steves Piccolo Bussola in Hauppauge. The food was outstanding and the service excellent. There are so many great specials that you never get to the actual fabulous extensive menu. My sister-in-law had the fabulous lamb chop special that was wonderful. All the food I have had there is superb!
