   Fabulous service and food! Our waiter Carlos is a perfect brand ambassador for Stillwell’s! What a star he is. Congrats to the entire Stillwell team (from the valet Parker’s to the hostesses to the wait staff, servers and managers! And the food was out-of-this-world delicious!!! Extremely well done!!!

   Stillwell’s is easily one of the best restaurants in Dallas. We went to celebrate my grandmother’s birthday and enjoyed every second. The attention to detail — from the service and dishes — is something to write home about. A special shoutout to Tomas for making our experience memorable. I’d recommend Stillwell’s to anyone who wants a lovely evening in Dallas — we will definitely be back.

   Stillwell's was one of the best dining experiences that I have had in quite a while. First, the hostess at the front was flexible with our reservation on a Saturday night. We were able to move our reservation without issue. When we arrived our table wasn't ready, and we went to the bar. That was the only part of the entire visit that was not pleasant My date and I felt like a bother to him, as we sat there, he looked at us, without saying a word and cleaned the bar. The bartender was not interested in serving us, as I had to ask for water. I was excited about the trip, and was looking forward to asking him about the beverages, but after I had to ask for water, and he still didn't offer to make us a drink, we decided to move on and just go stand while our table was being prepared. Fortunately, we turned around and we were properly greeted and taken to our table. That's where the magic truly began, our server, Tomas was outstanding. He was attentive, informative and pleasant. He got us drinks, told us about the food offerings, shared stories about the restaurant, and more. Our meal was fantastic, we started with the bread. And the bread did not disappoint. My date had a cesar salad and I had the beef dumplings. Tomas highly recommended the beef dumplings and they did not disappoint. If you eat red meat, they are a must. For the main course, my date had the lamb chop duo, and the puffed pastry lamb was remarkable. It had the texture of pot roast but with lamb. Sensational. I had the chicken, and the vegetables under the chicken was flavorful and the chicken. No complaints. We had the mac and cheese, and that too was spectacular. It had shells and the cheese was delicious. Also, the other staff that brough our food out to our table was polite and served us kindly. We will definitely be back. Minus the bartender's strange service, Stillwell's was a 9.5 out of 10.

   Food was good. Service was horrible. Hot sat in noisy bar with people coming by taking pictures outside. Wine was warm and over priced. Not a good value or experience at all. Wouldn’t recommend it again.

   We enjoy going to Swexan, but they struggle with service issues. 2 of the 3 entrees came out, but third was delivered to wrong table, resulting in a 10-12 minute wait. It’s always something. Often wine service can be painful, with server having to go to one of the other venues for the bottle. Only to return with news they are sold out, needing to replace with another. That did not happen last nite, thankfully, but does often. Food good.
