   It’s unfortunate, but I won’t be going back to this restaurant. All the steaks we got are very mediocre. Not quite bad enough to send back, but never something that you would say is good. Aside from that, the side dishes are great the desserts are great. Drinks are great. The service is good. this is a steakhouse for people who don’t like steak.

   So I gasped at the bill and I don’t think the waitress realized I have no issue paying that much for four people but not for the quality of food and experience we had. My partners med rare steak came out medium and my medium was legit well done. They came out with the new steaks but the time the two others in our party were done eating. Mine was rare in the middle but I wasn’t going to wait another 20 minutes so I picked around the edges. Service was slow, the jus with the chicken tasted like it had some type of chemical in it. The best thing we had were the mini burger apps and the tater tots side. After the issues with the steaks the server didn’t even offer us a free dessert or anything, it was just really tacky in my opinion. When I told her the experience was really not great and not worth 525 dollars she then went and asked the manager to take off my steak which he did. The ambiance was super cool and our server was very nice. All I can say is with the variety of restaurants in Boston there is no reason for me to go back to the STK in Boston.

   Steaks were cooked well, with good sauce options. Sides were underwhelming, and would not be ordered again: Brussel sprouts were hard and bland, mushrooms were too salty and an addition of cream cheese did not add anything good to the dish, tator tots were fried okay and a good portion but I didn't like its accompanying sauce, and finally the lobster in the mac n cheese was actually good but the macaroni wasn't notable. The calamari and crab cake were also not memorable. The drinks were the second best, after the steaks, but everything was so overpriced that we would not return. The DJ was great though, so if you come for drinks (spacious enough for a group) then take advantage of their gift card promotions.

   We were underwhelmed overall - it was just okay for us. Service staff should focus on delivering an experience, not just task driven food transport.. We had three different servers with the end of the evening ending with the initial waitress hovering over us while waiting for the credit card transaction to complete. Pretty tacky and made me feel pressured. The food itself was great, thankfully, but rest was meh, nothing really special from other restaurants in the area. I'd sum it up by saying It felt like the lost art of fine dining, with a need for more refinement and attention to detail on service delivery

    Wouldn't recommend going here. They are supposed to be a steakhouse and I ordered my steak med rare and it was not given med rare at all. Had to be sent back. The sides and lobster tail ordered with it were Luke warm and when I did get a new steak it was cold in the middle. There are WAY to many steakhouses in Boston for me to ever go back here again. Staff tried to be helpful and correct it but for the prices they charge, I was very disappointed in the food. The creamed spinach was also bland. If you are looking for good steak in Boston, go to one of the many others that have better food preparation and the standard matches the price. The warm skillet cookie desert was good though. That was the best part of my meal.
