   We were greeted by a very welcoming hostess. The manager, however was not so pleasant. He came across very short and dismissive when I explained the seating arrangement was too tight. The hostess could see our frustration and took the initiative to step in to ensure our table was set up so we could be comfortably seated. While we waited for our table, we sat at the bar and was provided excellent service by Jeffrey, who was very kind and thoughtful in his interaction and service. Our waiter, Nicholas took our dining experience to the next level. He anticipated our needs and was knowledgeable of the menu. Nicholas had a great personality. We enjoyed the personable and professional service he provided. All of his recommendations were spot on and the food was amazing!

   My husband and I had amazing drinks. He had a spicy margarita and I tried the blueberry lemon drop. The lemon drop was on the sweet side but very good. The calamari was fried to perfection but no seasoning. The gem Cesar salad was so amazing and my top favorite from the night. The filet was good with the wagumi signature butter but without the butter the steak would have been flavorless. Brussel sprouts were good and the truffle fries. Husband had the Austrian steak I believe and liked it . He didn’t care for the Mac n cheese with Canadian bacon in it but did like the creamed spinach. Our waitress Norma was a 10/10 experience.

   The shaved steak was not shaved at all. It was cut into pieces.Not prepared to temperature nor was it hot. Fries were warm, not hot. Requested salt and pepper, only to receive a mixture of the two in a bowl

   Where to begin?! From the time of arrival, we had an excellent experience. The new STK in DC is located inside the Marriott Marquis hotel. The restaurant is fun, sexy, energetic and ideal for a birthday celebration. I visited on Saturday evening with some friends for my birthday dinner. Our waiter was incredibly friendly, personable and attentive. The GM, George came over to our table to greet us and welcome us to the restaurant. He even brought us champagne to kick off the evening. The food was fantastic (we had oysters, Caesar salad, filet, brussels sprouts, truffle pasta and truffle fries). Everything was delicious! We also had a full dessert platter, and they surprised me with a cotton candy dessert that they torch which you get to watch melt before enjoying. There is also a DJ, and he plays upbeat music throughout the evening. If you have not been yet, I highly recommend checking out STK in DC. In my opinion, it's even better than the original STK Dupont location. Thanks again to our waiter and to George for making my birthday dinner so special!

   My experience was amazing and Jason was the best server ever! The drinks were flowing and I highly recommend getting the happy hour board full of all the amazing bites that STK has to offer.

   Our waiter, Ismail, was highly attentive and provided excellent service. The food was good, but pricey and the noise level way too loud. Impossible to talk.

    My group ordered from the Steak Night dinner menu. It provided a variety of options that was affordable for a 3 course meal. The happy hour drinks are definitely something to rave about!! Great experience. I will be returning!
