STK artfully blends two concepts into one—the modern steakhouse and a chic lounge. A large central lounge area is furnished with creamy leather banquettes and textured crocodile tiles, and is surrounded by an elevated dining room for more formal dining. Theatrical lights illuminate each table, while a DJ creates an energetic vibe throughout the entire space. STK Midtown is located in Midtown Manhattan, just steps from the bustling Theatre District. STK Midtown includes an outdoor patio and separate bar during summer months. As anticipated, steak is the main attraction. With a chic and modern mindset, STK offers small, medium and large cuts of meat, as well as naturally raised options and market fresh fish entrees. Aside from steak, signature items include Parmesan Truffle Fries; Lil’ BRGs; Crispy Lobster Tail; Sweet Corn Pudding; and Jumbo Lump Crab Salad.

Although we appreciated being seated within 10 minutes of our arrival, the service quickly fell short. It took approximately 30 minutes for our waitress to approach our table after we were seated. Additionally, we had to repeatedly request the Restaurant Week menu, which felt as though it was being intentionally withheld. When we finally received it, we noticed that nearly every item had additional charges ranging from $5 to $23, which were not reflected on the online menu. I also have a severe apple allergy and found that the cheesecake listed without an extra charge online came with a $5 surcharge in person. When I asked if there was any dessert option available that could accommodate my allergy, the waitress rudely informed me that my only choice was to pay the surcharge for the cheesecake or have no dessert at all. Her tone and lack of care were unprofessional. When I asked if I was essentially being penalized for my allergy, her dismissive response made the situation worse. To add to the frustration, the complimentary bread arrived after about 30 minutes. All of these small additional charges and the poor service made it clear where the restaurant’s priorities lie. The overall experience was disappointing, and I cannot recommend STK.

Ambiance and service was great however this is the worst food I have ever had in my life. Whoever said STK over Ruth Chris lied. They tell you the sides are portioned for 2 people however they’re very small. The food is tasteless. No flavor at all. They offer a butter sauce to add to your steak for an additional charge which was flavorful, however it was salty. Also their steak sauce takes like a bbq sauce and ketchup mix. Disgusting !!! My server was great. He even took pics for us. However I will never go back and do not recommend going if you want a good meal.

Didn’t get our bread had to ask for it multiple times, was asked when booking out reservation if this was for a special occasion and then our occasion wasn’t recognized… it was for our engagement. The steak wasn’t cooked to order either.

It was so loud! My fault for not reading reviews and looking into it. I thought the service was okay, how could they give suggestions or improve because it was so loud, it was very hard to communicate. The food was delicious, a little below temp on preparation (mid rare was rare) but quality and amount was substantial. There was a DJ, I relate that to clubs not a steakhouse dinner. A different experience for sure, I’d recommend it if you know what to expect.

My friends and I had an amazing time at STK midtown, wow! The ambiance is beautiful - intimate and sleek, perfect for a girls dinner or a date. Our waiter Nick was attentive and gave us time to relax, talk and have a good time. He made sure we had everything we needed and was super nice + patient! The food was delicious , the steak and seabass was everyone’s favorite! The drinks were a perfect mix - mojito and espresso martinis tasted on point. To top it all off off the dessert was chef kiss. The apple fritter + cotton candy cake was to die for. I would definitely come back here for a monthly girls night out. The staff & food really made us have the perfect night!

Loud atmosphere. Staff had an attitude and kept trying to push add ons or the next course when we were not ready. As a result main course steaks stayed under a heat lamp and were overdone a bit. Very expensive for the quality. Have been to STK in San Diego and loved it.

What an amazing, unheard of value. We had the Steak Night dinner menu that includes a bottle of wine, shrimp cocktails, steak and dessert for under $70 per person. All in the stunning STK setting, service and food. Absolutely one of the best dining values in years.

After a Broadway show we set out to STK, experience was great! Server was attentive, we had 2 bottles of Prosecco, we had the steak special that runs Sunday - Thursday. $69 each person, 2 apps 2 entrees 2 sides and 2 desserts. Everything was delicious. Mac and cheese asparagus fries and all the steaks perfectly made. Filet, NY strip, short riv(a la cart for 5th person. Dessert choices were limited to donut and apple pie. All delicious!
