Stoke & Rye by Chef Richard Sandoval is a modern American grill with a menu reflecting both the Colorado landscape and Chef Sandoval’s creative stylings. Dishes are genuine, time-honored, and traditional -- slow roasting in wood embers, braising, preserving, and smoking techniques bring the true flavors of America's great foods. One of the best meals we’ve had! We shared the tomahawk steak and cacio y Pepe. It was delicious and just the right amount of food. It’s not a cheap place to eat but worth the money. Would absolutely go back.

Nice atmosphere and good service overall. In my opinion the food was lacking in flavor. I had the lamb shank, which had a flowery description, turned out to be very plain. It was a large portion but had little seasoning, no sauce and little flavor. It was also slightly on the dry side. It was accompanied by plain couscous with a few pomegranate seeds mixed in. So all in all not much to get excited about. At $70 for the entree, I expected more and was disappointed. My wife got the burger which she said was good but not as good as the last time she got it. Our friends split the halibut and said it was good. Similar to our last experience here, the restaurant is very nice but in the end the food doesn’t justify the prices. Many other restaurants in the valley with better food at similar price point or better.

Our server, Lance, did a great job taking care of our family and also had a great presentation of the Tomahawk steak! Fantastic meal and we’ll be back next time we’re in BC.

Excellent dinner. Super wine list. Homemade Rolls for a starter. Wedge Salad next. Then the 52oz Tomahawk. WOW. The meat was cooked to perfection. Great table presentation. The glass-smoked chocolate dessert was the perfect finish to a wonderful meal. Alexander was our waiter. He was fabulous!

The food wasn't very interesting. The chicken with grits had so many grits, that I was unable to discern if I was eating chicken or grits, as the chicken got buried in the grits. The wine list was extensive, but high mark-ups and few options under $100. We won't dine there again, as Avon has a lot of other options.

Our server Alexander, was phenomenal. Food was so salty I couldn't eat it. Before I left the restaurant, my hands were so swollen from either MSG or over salting… Beware; they have table side cuisines. Smoke was bellowing off the table next to us from the Tomahawk steak that was ordered. The server poured Everclear over the top of the steak and then lit it on fire. With no ventilation, the smoke lingered our entire meal. Anyone with respiratory issues need to be aware. Overpriced for what you get. Our server made a hard sale for the rosemary homemade buns with maple syrup butter. Don't waste your money. Nothing special. Literally they taste like yeast.

Had a birthday dinner for my husband and it was a great experience. It was just after the holiday rush so it was very quiet and our server Alex was very friendly and attentive to us. We were also treated with a delicious banana crème brûlée! The filet mignon and hanger steak were outstanding.
