Sonya Cote, the James Beard Foundation WEL alum and Texas chef known for Eden East, now adds Store House Market & Eatery in downtown Bastrop to her portfolio. A proponent for local purveyors and a pioneer of using locally-grown ingredients for both nutritional and environmental purposes, Cote transformed a nearly 175-year-old, historic two-building property at the corner of Main and Pine into a seasonally-driven restaurant and market that will showcase the local area’s bounty. The a la carte menu features rotating mains and sides, using ingredients sourced from Eden East Farm and other Bastrop producers.

Service and noise level was great. All meat was tough and wine list is sad. Will only return for the malt vinegar fries.

What a great place. Right on Main St, great ambiance and character. Service was friendly and fast from all of the folks that helped us. Absolutely would recommend if you are looking for something in the heart of Bastrop

If you are in Bastrop, Storehouse brunch is an experience you can’t miss. Historic building, cool lovely people, and food that is fresh from their farm…insanely delicious! Seriously get in there.

Excellent food. The duck and ribeye were outstanding. Try the Butternut Squash “Queso” as a starter. Great drinks - especially the winter cocktail with scotch - Brother’s Keeper. It was outstanding! Great service and vibes as well. Check it out!

It's always a pleasure to eat at Storehouse. Tonight, we sat at the bar for a more social experience. Had a seasonal cocktail, beet tartare, and wild mushroom pasta. Everything was super tasty, nice folks, great ambience. Many options for omnivores and vegetarians alike. Storehouse is a gem!

Store House Market is incredible! My favorite dishes are the tomahawk pork chop, brunch French toast and chicken and the garlic malt and vinegar fries — which are the best fries I have ever had/my favorite fries. The service professionals at Store House are top notch. Some of the kindest, most inviting and lovely people. Bastrop is so lucky to have this gem.
