   The decor is a cool vibe. Drinks and food are reasonably priced and a good value for the money. The service however was noticeably lacking. Too much wait time before we were brought water or asked if we wanted drinks or were ready to order food. Two of our meals were cooked but delivered cold, for which the manager quickly remedied the situation. We are willing to try it again, but they need to hire more staff. The place definitely has potential.

   I ASKED FOR A PRIVATE TABLE AND DID NOT GET ONE THE HOSTESS WAS NOT FRIENDLY I HAD TO REMIND HER I HAD A RESERVATION 3 TIMES WE WERE WAITING AT THE FRONT COUNTER FOR 10 MIN ALSO NO ONE CAME TO US

   Loved the grilled salmon and risotto! I substituted the orzo risotto on my plate as I do not like couscous. Our server, Joshua, was amazing and friendly. His suggestions were on point Also loved the decor and artwork. I will be returning again.

   It’s very loud and some parts of the restaurant the lighting is good but some parts like where we were sitting was cafeteria lighting. I ordered a drink and got the wrong one. Waitress over poured water in my glass and didn’t clean up the mess. Very chaotic and messy and very loud. Definitely not for date night unless you want a sports bar type ambience.

   We had 11 there and everyone expressed their satisfaction with the food and service. My wife and I have been to the restaurant 3 times, and we will continue coming back. I've had the filet, the lobster pasta and the short rib pasta. I thought the lobster pasta was exceptional.

   This was my 4th visit to Story since they opened. Excellent service on visit number 3 (shoutout to Vicky). Poor service the other times. Last night the four of us waited 15 minutes at a table in the bar to even be acknowledged by waitstaff. Another 10 minutes to get water and place an order. Food came out before our cocktails, and one drink was missing when they did arrive. Had to ask for water refills a few times during our meal. Asked for ketchup and the runner said he’ll tell our server. At least 5 minutes later still no ketchup for the fries, so we asked another runner who quickly brought it out to us. We brought a bottle of wine to drink and we opened and poured it ourselves since our server was unavailable. All the previous glasses and plates from cocktails and dinner were pushed to the edge of the table and were still there when we left 2.5 hours later. Our server was a really nice guy. We tipped him well even though our service experience was poor. Clearly the restaurant was understaffed ( as it was with our previous visits) but the food was good. I’ll probably go back but have very low expectations for service when I do.

   The ambience and decor in this new restaurant is wonderful. Makes for a great celebration or date night. We enjoyed the charcuterie board, the short rib tacos, and the miso butter noodles and I give them all a 10. I was disappointed with my lemon drop martini as the glass came less than half full. I’m tired of paying $17 for a drink and getting a couple sips. The wine was good with a reasonable but not generous sized pour. our server was lovely and attentive, but we did have to ask her to correct a couple mistakes on the bill. I think they need some time to work the bugs out considering that this place is relatively new. We will definitely go back and I’m hopeful that this one will be successful.

    We recently had a party of eight in the Story Room which is a private room available for reservation. This room was the perfect backdrop to a wonderful dinner. The food was reasonably priced and the menu offered creative dishes that we all enjoyed. One surprising dish was the rib eye sandwich. And the Sea bass I ordered was delicious. The service was second to none and given I've had over a decade of experience in the food industry I credit the good ownership which is hard to come by these days.
