   This not the Strega of 5 years ago. Wine was corked, smoke infused drink had no smoke (" they are out of wood" ), water service added tap water into our sparkling water, service was slow. Just not the same.

   Service was great. Food was good not the best. We waited for our food for an unexpected amount of time. Drinks were delicious and tiramisu was delicious!

   We eat out all over the world, and have previously enjoyed Strega on at least two occasions; once at this location and once at a different Boston location which has since closed. This was the worst experience we have had dining out in a very very long time. First, there was virtually no service, our table was virtually ignored most of the evening. Second, the wine glasses are cartoon like, with printed grapes on the side, heavy stems and the same glasses used for every type of wine. The white wine glass came piping HOT right out of the dish dryer. Wines were not poured at the table. Very tacky. Third, two of three main dishes we received were flavorless. The third was passable but nothing to write home about. One of our three appetizers was also inedible. But overall, it was the complete lack of respectable service that will cause us to not return. Sad to take this one off of our list of go to spots but this isn’t worth trying again.

   The staff was incredibly professional, and the linguine clams were cooked perfection. The portions were extraordinarily big typically in a restaurant like this you get tiny portions for a big price, but I would go back a second time for sure!

   Snobby. Waiter did not want to serve our group and would take forever to come back to the table. Acted like everything was an extreme inconvenience, even scoffed at simple requests. Won’t be coming back.

   Unfortunately, the service was not good. We barely saw our waiter and had to order dinner with the bartender when he came over to replace an incorrect drink order, or we may have been there a lot longer waiting to order. The food is okay, definitely not a true Cacio e Pepe. I don’t think we’ll be back.

    The bread service was amazing. The calamari and cioppino were extremely good. The only bummer was the hazelnut torte was no longer on the menu. So I may not return just because that was one of my favorite desserts 🙁
