Succotash PRIME is a progressive perspective of classic Southern favorites. James Beard Award winner Edward Lee brings his Korean roots and Southern repertoire to a soulful Southern Steakhouse menu.

SUCCOTASH is named after the classic dish that has been a longstanding staple of the Southern table. While many know “Succotash” when they see it, the dish has been interpreted, modified, and passed from generation to generation for centuries. Good Service, decent drinks HORRIBLE FOOD!!! And making a party of six split the bill manually will NEVER bring us back!!! Don’t waist your time or your money!!! Too many other great options in DC that’ll treat a customer like a special guest.

This was our 2nd time eating at Succotash. Just as good as the first time. We ordered the Taste of the South. The food was excellent and we got to sample a variety of food from the menu. Fried green tomato salad, deviled eggs, chicken wings, shrimp and grits, ribeye steak, chicken and waffles, cornbread, collard greens and garlic smashed potatoes for the two side. OMG so good. We took our dessert to go we were so full. Highly recommend Succotash.

Jason (Thursday evening) was the best waiter ever! No exaggeration. He made the experience a five star one! The food was great as always.

Wonderful food and good service in a beautiful building! Only complaint is the this is the 2nd time in a row that we had a reservation but were not seated for 40 minutes after the time of the reservation.

The food and service was just perfect. As a South Korean visiting DC, we were thrilled to be able to visit chef Lee's restaurant. Especially the Collards Kimchi menu tasted just like authentic Korean menu back at home and was a suprising delight for us. Wish I could revisit the place soon.
