   Waitstaff was very friendly and attenttive… the food with a southern twist was very enjoyable… As an old renovated bank, the ambiance strong… Very pleasant… Our only hiccup - some of the group needed separate checks (public employees)… we had some challenges solving that problem at the end of the meal…

   This was the second time that I've been to the Succotash Prime location. Both times I expected just a little bit more. It's not the service. Our servers were impeccable. It's just that I wanted just a little more oomph from the food. Maybe just a tad more seasoning. My dining partner and I got the brunch for the table (which was underpriced - words I never thought I'd say): deviled eggs, fried green tomatoes, citrus salad, chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, and pecan sticky buns. We also got a side of the greens and kimchi and an order of corn bread Everything was fine, but I wanted there to be a pop of flavor in my mouth and there really wasn't with the exception of the citrus salad. We had a child with us who ordered macaroni and cheese and she LOVES macaroni and cheese, but she didn't finish it. She really liked the ice cream, though. So, good but not great, but great potential is there.

   We had a great experience trying out this southern influenced restaurant. The stake was great and the shrimp and grits too

   Our server Mike was amazing! It’s rare to find amazing food, ambiance, and service all in one place. I especially appreciated the effort to make our anniversary special just from selecting it online. We came in to a hand written card and left with a dessert on the house. Will never forget this experience. Thank you!!!!

   Had the pimento cheese burger with bacon jam, fried chicken and waffles, banana pudding and honey old fashioned. All fantastic. Rolled out of there with big smiles and full stomachs!

   Some members of my party were late and the restaurant waits to seat you until everyone is in attendance. They were very kind to hold our table well past the reservation time. The two waiters were thorough in their menu explanations. They were attentive, timely, and friendly. It was one of the best dining experiences I have had in DC in a veryyyy long time. The customer service was top-notch. Food was great too. We ordered an assortment of appetizers and entrees. Everything everyone had was delicious.

    True southern hospitality! The food was incredible and arrived quickly. Our server was so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. They even provided us a complimentary dessert for our anniversary. We will definitely be back!
