We were disappointed at the number of things you were out of on the menu. The concept is so great and generally it was good for the value. The sushi bar behind the scenes was pretty messy and disorganized which felt a little awkward that you could see the mess and everything. Not like a typical sushi bar which feels clean, intentional and organized. We didn’t really know who our server was or how to order the experience was underwhelming.

Overall the food was fairly good; however, a few ingredients/menu items weren’t available by early dinner time. The food quality was good, yet the portion per serving is relatively small compared to other nearby restaurants. The cocktails were good. I don’t think I would go again. There are other nearby restaurants offer more tasty food options with better prices for the same type of food.

We were a party of 4 and sat at the sushi bar. It was great to observe how the food was made. Only downside was it was tough to converse with the group but that was the trade off. Food was fresh and service was great. The Truffle Avocado was so tasty and the edamame was the best I’ve had in a while. It was a little pricey but for the location and the food, it was worth it.

Went here for a date night- staff were super attentive and thoughtful. We had a bouquet of flowers that they offered to store for us elsewhere in the restaurant so that we didn’t have a massive bouquet taking up space at our table. The food was great and I think you get a good bang for your buck. Our favorites were the kampachi and torched eel handrolls! The only thing we didn’t like as much was the kaarage- not crispy and pretty tasteless without the dipping sauces.

This is one of my favorite sushi experiences anywhere. The menu is very simple, but the sushi is delicious. We always go for the a la carte options but they have great deals on the hand roll combos too. You sit right at the counter so not only do you watch the food get made, but the rice is still warm when it gets to you. I also love how the chefs interact with you and explain the dishes, it really elevates the experience. The rolls come out one by one and are timed perfectly so you can enjoy each piece as it is delivered and the Nori is nice and crispy, you can tell it's very high quality. Overall, this is a very different and delightful way to enjoy sushi and is worth the trip every time.

The food was absolutely amazing—I enjoyed every bite! Some of our items accidentally weren’t rung in so we didn’t get to eat it which was disappointing.

Sat at the hand roll bar and it was a great experience! Loved these rolls: truffle avocado, kampachi, crispy shrimp, otoro, torched unagi. Sushi chefs were really nice and accommodating to my dietary needs. Lychee martini is a must try too!

Was in Seattle for my birthday and the gentleman working the sushi bar was amazing! He gave us a birthday dessert that wasn’t even on the menu yet. As well as two delicious yuzu drinks. Service from the host, server and sushi bar guys was outstanding!

Came here for Seattle restaurant week so it may have been a little busier than normal. I chose the 12 nigiri omakase menu for $65 (normal is $60 without the miso soup, gyoza, and small dessert bite). Food - Quality of fish and rice were quite good and worth the $60 price point. Thick pieces of nigiri and flavorful toppings, but nothing you haven’t seen before. Skip the gyoza. Service - Again, not sure if restaurant week caused a back-up in the kitchen, but reservation was at 6:45 and left at 8:20. 12 piece nigiri set came 4 at a time, but took a long time for first 4 to come. Was already seated an hour by the time I finished 1-4 and waiting for 5-8. Nigiri was delicious and servers were kind about the wait. Note - There are two sides of the restaurant and open table doesn’t necessarily tell you what you’re booking? If you want handrolls, need to sit at the hand roll bar. Omakase side only has high top tables so not the most comfy. May want to call to confirm they know where you want to be seated.
