   The ambience is perfect for a date night. The service is exceptional and the food is great as well. The bananas foster bread pudding is a must!

   Overall food was good, just the unfortunately under cooking of my steak (Cajun Ribeye) to the requested medium well and steak having to be return to the kitchen on two occasions. But we're going to say, due the day (Mother's Day)

   Ribeyes were way smaller than the menu said and everything was all charred and way below my expectations. We won’t be back.

   We had a reservation for 8, we weren’t even sat until around 30 minutes later. Our food took a long time as well, the whole experience was a 2 hour endeavor. Our server however, Isaac, was the best! He was super sweet and engaging, and give us amazing recommendations! The food was amazing as well, we shared the Porterhouse and each got baked potatoes. It was really just the constant waiting that killed the vibe for us.

   My recent experience at Sullivan's was not particularly impressive. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait several minutes to be seated, which was understandable as the restaurant didn't appear excessively busy. Once seated, we were given ample time to review the menu and make our selections, but it took an extended period before anyone approached our table with water or to take our order. After ordering steaks and a single side dish, we waited close to 45 minutes for our food to arrive. I'm uncertain if the restaurant was understaffed that evening, but the overall experience did not align with the expectations of a fine dining establishment.

    Our food is always good here. I know people think other restaurants in Baton Rouge have better steaks but I do not agree. I think Sullivan's steak is better than any other. The cooks always cook to perfection. We got the filet which was perfectly seasoned and the New York strip which is always so tender. The strip might just be better than the filet. We also had some sides, desserts and drinks all perfect. The brussel sprouts are shaved and loaded with bacon. The lobster make is enough for 3-4 people. I always get the margarita which I do enjoy. I think cooks and servers do a great job. Our server Trevor was great tonight.
