   Ordered lobster bisque and salad to come out before our steak. Steak came out first before bisque and salad????? Steak was very undercooked and had to send it back. It was fine when it came back. Lobster bisque was terrible. Waitress didn’t ask why we didn’t have hardly any of our bisque. Wife said salad was not good at all. Never had a refill on drinks (soda).

   Our experience sorry to say was very poor. We had bad service. We had a 72.00 steak. We ordered it medium rare, we also asked for it to be sliced. When they finally brought the steak it was not sliced. We had to wait a very long time for them to take it back to the kitchen. When they did bring it back the steak was well done. We did however like the creamed spinach. We sat in the room where the kitchen was, it was VERY smokey. Overall a bad experience

   Horrible experience! I eat at Sullivan’s in Charlotte and Raleigh often and have never experienced such food quality and poor restaurant management. This Sullivan’s needs better training and should hire new cooks! This was not premium food quality so the they should not charge a premium price. My food was cold and seemed like it had been sitting for hours! My wife’s Salmon was over cooked and dry the sides were disgusting…very poor food quality! I won’t complain about the fact that it took an hour and 20 mins to get our food after the 30 minute wait to be seated even though we had a reservation.

   Items on the menu where not available, they run out of meat choices, waited to be served more than a hour , the food was terrible and the service very slow , not a good place to go on new years ..

   I am sorry to say that the experience was very, very much lacking in any good quality for such a special night. We had been here before several years ago. But last night they didn’t have the wine I requested, they didn’t have the lamb that I requested at my reservation at 5 PM, which I don’t understand, they burnt the lobsters of my partner, they served us cold coffee, and we had to wait close to an hour before we got served and by the time we left, it was two hours and 40 minutes. Other tables got filled and left twice before we did. I was very disappointed. It’s true. They didn’t charge us for the burnt lobster and they didn’t charge me for my stuffed lobster which I ended up sharing with my partner the potato was double baked, and the shell was very hard and slightly burnt on the bottom very disappointed unfortunately for a New Year’s dinner celebration with someone special

    It did not start out well when I asked for sugar for my unsweetened ice tea and was informed that “we do not have real sugar, only sugar substitutes”. What is up with that? The appetizers were delicious as were the salads. Hot bread was delivered twice and was very good. Service was very good until it was time for the main course. Unfortunately, 2 of our 3 steaks were not properly prepared. I asked for medium rare filet and received medium well. My dinner mates rib eye steak was cold and very salty. He sent his steak back. The asparagus was cold and so was the loaded baked potato. We could tell that the restaurant was struggling with the NYE crowd. If this wasn’t a steak house I would be more forgiving in my review. The main course was really sub -par.
