   The best sushi in the Northbay! Great Barlow location; parking is often a problem on weekends,- park on Morris St and come in from the back! Best plates: Machi Bon, Ahi tacos, red dragon and salmon citrus rolls; the sashimi 16 pc dinner is incredible! Be sure to get the mushroom miso, too!

   Great service on valentines evening, lots of Nigerian choices that didn't disappoint. Delicious maki rolls and miso soup too!

   Had a terrific visit. Our server was great. Lisa i think? My brother, who i brought and who has only had sushi twice before, said our Machi-Bon appetizer dish was possibly the best bite of food he ever had. I agree. Thank you.

   The most unique (and delicious) seaweed salad I’ve ever had. The sashimi was delectable. Ribs app - yum yum yum. I can’t believe how amazing black sesame ice cream is - save room! Oh and also try the Basque style cheesecake. This meal hit all the spots.

   My girlfriend and I went here on a date and had wonderful experience. The atmosphere, food, and service were all top notch. Easily one of the best sushi spots that I've been to. Will definitely be back.

   Best grilled calamari in Sonoma County. I love the dessert cake with black sesame ice cream. Unique diverse menu includes chicken and ribs. Over its lifetime service has always been dicey -- some times excellent, sometimes indifferent, sometimes actually rude. We go here every year for one of our birthdays, I have not seen the same waitperson twice. However service on 12-13-24 was excellent -- our waitperson was pleasant, accommodated our slow ordering, knew the menu, always appeared when needed, and was appropriately celebratory to our birthday guest . $150 for 4, which included two small carafes of chilled house sake and two desserts.

   The miso soup was excellent. Ordered the seaweed salad and it was unlike any I’ve ever had and was delicious. My friends chicken dish was also very yummy. Sushi was good, too.

   First and foremost the ambiance was not nearly like a Japanese restaurant. I realise the location of the restaurant in the Barlow lends itself to be very trendy and hip but I prefer a more Asian feeling when dining on Japanese food, just in general. Our server was pleasant but no warm or welcoming feeling, basically lacking personality. Thankfully the quality of the food made the day. A bit pricey, and by the way, Open Table needs to update the menu they’re showing because it was way off in pricing. Probably will not revisit this restaurant.

    We’ve dined at many Sushi restaurants for many years in SoCal. We found this restaurant needs to update its ambience to meet the style of food it serves. The Sushi was ok but they need to be more creative on its specialty rolls. The service while polite could have been more attentive, even my teenage daughter to works in restaurants commented on this. My recommendation to the owner and staff, don’t be ordinary , be extra ordinary if you want repeat clientele!
