   My brother and I are long time barbecue aficionados. We had found the original Sweet T’s in Santa Rosa and found it to be a treasure. We had occasion to visit with the charming owner on our visit. Fast forward a few years, Seet T’s was lost in the tragic Santa Rosa fire and had re-established itself in Windsor just a few miles north of Santa Rosa. The restaurant design was a beautiful high-end creation. The lighting, decor and noise level were outstanding, providing an excellent atmosphere. It was quite apparent that the staff had ACTUALLY BEEN TRAINED! It is the exception, not the rule these days for public businesses. A declining work ethic and labor shortages have all-to-often resulted in less than desired customer experiences. When you walk into the large restaurant (do make a reservation) you will be met with an alert fleet of greeters who actually look forward to serving their patrons. The servers are knowledgeable about their offerings and eager to maximize your experience. We asked for a sample of the black eyed peas and received same promptly. They are a fine side option. Mt wife lives pulled pork and lived the smoky flavor in an offering that was all meat. My brother and I had the ribs that were cooked just perfectly with excellent smoke and the perfect mouth feel. The sauce is great. When I asked the server to speak to the owner she came back and said the owner was too busy cooking. To our surprise, the same still- charming proprietor did come by to say hi. I told her we just had to complement her on her new restaurant and well trained staff. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant more highly. I look forward to trying the fried chicken on my next visit.

   Went to Sweet T’s with my in laws. My father in law really wanted the braised short ribs. Unfortunately the braised short ribs sold out the night before. So since those were sold out, he requested the ribs. Unfortunately the ribs were not available until 2pm and we were there at 1pm. Broken hearted he ordered the burger. He enjoyed the burger and finished his plate. We were getting ready to leave and bless the chef, they sent him home with a to go box of ribs and coleslaw. It made his day! Thank you all so much!
