   The first crab beignet was good but as I ate more of them, they were cold. The spicy mule was amazing. The shrimp and grits were good but needed more grits.

   Loved loved loved our server. So attentive and made us feel so cared for. The food was also fantastic quality.

   Thanksgiving food variety was great; flavors were a little bland; guessing to keep it easy for everyone. Service was great but tablecloths were dirty from previous parties. Pretty noisy because of families with young kids; to be expected on the holiday. Prices were outrageous however. Paying for being at the resort.

   The buffet-style Thanksgiving Dinner was the best I've ever experienced (and I've experienced many!). For $79pp, the value can't be beat. All the traditional Thanksgiving favorites were represented, and I especially enjoyed the amazing charcuterie spread and seafood appetizers. The variety and quality of the dishes were excellent, and the service was top-notch. The hotel property itself was beautifully decorated for the holidays and there was no shortage of photo ops. Highly recommend for your family Thanksgiving gathering.

   They charged credit card for missed reservation because they did NOT check us in properly. So we paid for dinner AND paid again when they charged our held cc. I contacted restaurant and told manager would call and 48 hours later they still haven’t called. Also notified open table and not resolved through them. Will be disputing transaction on cc.

   This year's Thanksgiving (2024) was a little disappointing compared to past years. We didn't seem to have a server assigned to our table, we had to flag someone down for drinks. A waitress from a completely other section had to take on our table in addition to the ones she was assigned. The food selection seemed a bit pared down as well compared to previous years, and not quite as good. We will likely find another spot for next year.

   This was a treat for my Dad, it was just the two of us growing up and we always went to a fancy hotel for Thanksgiving Brunch. It has been decades since we have done this and let me tell you there was nothing disappointing about our experience. The food was amazing the staff were very cheerful and genuinely happy to be away from their families serving our meal. My Dad was so excited which doesn’t happen much anymore. Afterwards I was looking at some photos we took and read the menu omg there was so much I didn’t get to try ! Not that I had room for anything more ! Thank you all for such great memories

    Food order was brought out to another table. The customers touched the food. Our waitress picked it up and brought to us. Nasty. We watched the entire scenario unfold. She tried to correct it with another burger for my wife and it came out suspiciously fast. She claimed it was another one that was already coming up. So apparently they screwed over another customer. We love La Cantera but this was just unacceptable. Do better!
